I don't know..........Gatti was so easy to hit and that facial damage is there too.

Then again, Gatti fought guys like Oscar, Robinson twice, Manfredy.........his losses were against guys who would have bashed the shit out of Walters.

Walters ran out of heart because Lomachenko took his right hand off him.

Gatti would make Walters think he had TWO right hands.

And was Arturo a big enough puncher to deal with somebody who would MORE than match him in the "put weight on after" category

    :dunno:

    Irish beat me to it.

This is a completely different dynamic. Walters couldn't find Loma for shit. He'd have no such trouble against Gatti.

I guess it's all about which gives out first - Gatti's face or Walters will.

I'd probably take Gatti. Walters just doesn't look impressive at all at 130. Gatti would be a bit too big and powerful for him in the end. But it's far from a given. Walters could very well win.

For the record, Loma would beat the ever living fuck outta Gatti.

Walters has a chance in the early rounds, but if Gatti holds up and drags him into deep waters, forget it.

    The Jamaican will be smoked.

Walters would knock him out impressively. Walters quit against Loma out of frustration and embarrassment. There's really no evidence he would quit in a tough competitive fight and Gatti wouldn't give him that anyway.

This might be the only time in history I defend Gatti... but Walters couldn't even knock out two bums in Marriaga and Jason Sosa. And he hit them with everything but the sink.

Gatti's incredibly overrated at 135 and 140, but at 130, while not a great fighter, his power was very real at 130. A firefight favors Gatti and a firefight is the only kinda fight Walters knows.

Gatti is no better than Sosa and Mariaga. I'd pick Sosa over Gatti as a matter of fact. Don't know enough about Marriaga. There was nothing special about Gatti, Manfredy, Robinson, Harris, etc.

Jason Sosa is a TOTAL scrub.

Gatti damn sure wasn't a top fighter, but you're going overboard. He was a big puncher at 130, if nothing else.

Gatti got lumped up by all sorts of average fighters at 130 before and after he won the title from patterson. leon bostic, jose sanabria, wilson rodriguez.
