I kind of liked the first couple Spiderman movies.............kind of...........now I hate the entire franchise with a passion.

The character has not aged well at all.

It´s been so fucking diluted...its not even funny.

 

this is a different Spidey, closer in spirit to the original 1960s version.

 

But how can anyone ´identify´ with the character if multiple actos play him?
Marvel CU dont have this problem: all the actors play the roles to the point now where, it would be stupid if they started chopping and changing.

To emphasise this point, its why Toby Maguire is the definitive Spider-Man.

 

Fuck Toby Maguire. He's as bad a Spider man as Michael Keaton was a batman. Y'all are just nostalgic.

 

Nostalgia doesnt enter into this.
Ive re-watched Spider-Man I, II and III and although the third one is fucking awful, and the first two have the hideous Cunst actress in em, Maguire doesnt actually do a bad job. He plays Peter Parker great.

Garfield I just dont like at all, in anything he does so Im biased there.

The new guy is just....nothing. :dunno:

 

I hear you on Garfield, he's an annoying cunt in many ways, but he played a much better peter Parker/Spider Man than Toby McCunt.

 

You´re picking Maguire apart with a couple of pics and scenes that were bad.
Generally, he pulled it off.

The only bad aspects of those first two movies are the annoying ´whooo-hoos´ he does when flying through the air at 250kph and Kraken Dunce ::
The third just blew it totally.


Gwen Stacey in the new movies was far, far hotter as Parker´s chick...(Emma Stone?)

 

This one scene alone demonstrates with Garfield was a far superior Spider man to McGuire. In three films McGuire hasn't been able to have any scene as slick as this.

Maguire could do that if he had the same director!!!

 

This scene was classic. Some of the worst acting ever.

 

Is he taking a dump there?

 

He should have actually been taking a dump.

 

His facial expresions were ridiculous.

 

Maybe Garfield wouldve had some nonchalantly cool face on....or, more likely that permanent worried look he employs...

 

If Garfield did that seen, he would have looked waaaay more heroic.

Not impressed, tbh....even less-so that yet again, fucking Downey Jr is in this as well: the Marvel Comics equivalent of dog-shit - everywhere.

 

From this picture it's clear who's the hero and who's the cunt.

 

Looks good, I just hope there isn't as much Downey Jnr in it as it seems from this clip. I don't like the costume though....and I still think Garfield was better but this kid is better than Tobey Maguire.

 

I wish Tony Stark/Iron-Man wasn't in this film or at least just to have a brief cameo, but apparently he will have a bigger role here. that said it looks awesome (still not thrilled at the politically correct diversity revamped cast...will Spidey be gay too?)
