Shame about Conley. He was having the best season of his career too, and would have possibly made his first all star appearance.

Yeah, this isn't the NFL, where EVERY game is pivotal.

In the NBA, with 82 games, it's pretty common for teams that end with great records getting off to rocky starts.

There's also been cases of teams getting off to great starts, then falling off.

YOU Should Give a Fuck, but it's All Good...You're Attempting to MINIMIZE Because You're On Durant's Malnourished Nuts & That's Fine Too...

Nonetheless, When, Not If, but WHEN Golden State Doesn't Advance to the 2017 NBA Finals, REED'll Bump This and Other Posts for You...Especially If it's the Spurs that Eliminates Them...But On to FACTS...

Last Year, Golden State Lost 9 Fucking Games TOTAL...They were 39-2 @ the Crib & DIDN'T Lose Either of Those Games Until the END of Last Season...The Margin of Defeat in Those Games was 3 and 7 Points...

But if You REALLY Wanna Pretend Getting RAPED by 29pts, On YOUR OWN Home Floor, In the Season OPENER, In the Debut of Your New, Shiny Free Agent Acquisition, Is a "Who Gives a Fuck" Moment, So Be It...

Like REED Said, This Matter WILL Be Revisited In Due Time...

The 2011 Heat were 11-7 through 18 games.

Dubs are 16-2 through 18 games.

Season openers are indeed "who gives a fuck" games. ESPECIALLY for teams that are incorporating a new star, because NOOOOOO team in history gels in the goddamn season opener!

If the Spurs were to the blow GS out in March, it'd be alarming.

Doing it in the season opener means nada.

The MANNER of Victory and WHO Beat the Living Shit Out of You is MOST CERTAINLY Important, Even in a Season Opener...When Your CHIEF Conference Rival Does That To You, You'd BETTER Pay Attention...

No, it Doesn't DEFINE Your Season, but Golden State Damn Sure BETTER Show they're BETTER Than That, the Very NEXT Time they Play the Spurs...

ANYTIME a Team of Golden State's Caliber Gets WHIPPED by 30, @ the Crib, It's Worth Noting...

For the last three years, it's been the same deal with the Warriors - when they lose, it tends to be in lopsided fashion.

In close games, they're extremely difficult to beat. Which makes Cleveland's game 7 win all the more impressive.

I'm maintaining what I think - Leonard and Aldridge aren't good enough to get by a locked in Curry and Durant.

NOW.... if Tony Parker and Manu were younger and still in their primes, it'd be a different story. But both of them are relics.

Cleveland got absolutely CRUSHED by LA, which increases the chances of a Clipper title and a statue of Paul or Griffin outside the STAPLES Center

Great game by Klay, but people are comparing Klay's game to when Kobe scored 62 in three quarters against the Mavs.

Totally different situations and really no comparison. No team game plans to stop Klay. They game plan around Steph and KD. So having those two occupy most the defensive attention helps Klay's case.

Kobe was the ONLY focal point on offense surrounded by a bunch of D-league players, yet still single handedly outscored a Mavs team that made the finals that year.

I'd say Bryant's performance was slightly more impressive.

All that proves is that Thompson's a better pure shooter than Bryant.

In fact, Klay is ARGUABLY the third best pure shooter in history behind Curry and Ray Allen.

Put Thompson on that scrubby Lakers team and he'd have had to create his own to get those 60. Because ya know, Smush Parker wasn't exactly Stephen Curry...

This bugs me and it should be a concern, not a celebration. Klay does this shit from time to time to show the team that he is there too. He does this to prove something. This was done because he was feeling forgotten and neglected IMO. But this shit wont be constant. If Klay played like this all the time, there would be no need for a Kevin Durrant.

Of Course Klay is Feeling Left Out...

As REED has Stated a Hundred Times, There's Simply NOT Enough Basketballs to PACIFY Everyone and the #'s They're Accustomed To...Hell, on the Night Klay Got His, Steph, Durant and Draymond Only Shot 30 Times COMBINED...For the Season, Steph's Averaging Nearly 18 Attempts, Durant 17 and Draymond 9...

The REALITY Is, Basketball Fans Care About Batman Primarily, w/a Little Looooooooooooove Reserved for Robin...NOBODY Gives a Fuck about Batgirl and Alfred Though, Which is Who Klay and Draymond NOW Are, in the Golden State Warrior Pecking Order...

Guys Can SAY All the Right Shit, but They're COMPETING Against Each Other just as Much as They Are the Other Teams...Klay Doesn't WANT to Give Up the # 2 Spot, but he Really Has NO Choice...This is Clearly Steph's Team and Durant is a Better Player...The SAME Dude that Said, "I'm Not Sacrificing Shit", Prior to the Season, IS Sacrificing his Role on the Team...

And 1nce the Warriors FAIL to Advance OUT of the Western Conference, a Laundry List of "Chemistry" Issues and Locker Room "Bickering" will Surface...Watch and See...

Yeah, I don't know what the fuck these guys are talking about. Just continuing a narrative they made their minds up about a long time ago.

If the Warriors fail to advance it's because the West is fucking deeeeeeeeep. Not because of some made up soap opera drama.

prior to the big game he was averaging 16.8 shots as opposed to 17.3 shots last season. 20.65 ppg as opposed to 22.1 last season. :notallthere:

he had a big game. no different than last season when he had 37 in a quarter. Im sure he'll have other big games this year as well.

not sure what you and anthonys logic is. i agree with nobleart

as i said before the year. there will be nights when each of these 3 guys go off and the others will defer to the hot hand.

Fuuuuuuurthermore, REED has Been CLEAR that this Will Fail Due to a Lack of POST PLAY on Golden State's Behalf...The Soap Opera Shit Will Come After the Fact...

FACT Is, Until Dropping 60 on 33 Attempts, Klay Thompson was Averaging FEWER Points and Shots than Last Season, Was he Not???...

There's been no evidence of the narrative you've stuck your guns to, other then a slightly rocky start to the season and a chip on your shoulder over where Durant decided to play. Durant has been efficient as he's ever been since he's come to the Warriors. Evidence his own team-mates aren't trying to torpedo him.

Post play and lack of defense are valid reasons. The other stuff is nothing more the gossip news conjecture.........and besides, plenty of teams that don't get along have won, but I don't see evidence of that yet on this team.

Is that number from before or after that 60 point game?

But seriously, who the fuck cares? The Season is early.
