Elizabeth 1 would be an interesting show too. I know you're looking for betrayals and brutal executions (I love that shit too) but what's interesting about this one is the politics and the internal family dynamics...plus her reign goes had in hand with the post war political situation and the world events of the 2nd half of the 20th century. I will say though, this show is not for small minded people, it's for thinkers.....

 

Just tell me it's got Game Of Thrones like drama and I'll watch it.

These jokers have Best Picture-Comedy & Best Picture-Drama, eveybody is a winner, everybody gets a trophy, Meryl Streep can bash Trump for five uninterrupted minutes, obscure independent black drama that nobody has watched or heard of before gets trophies just to be inclusive, ...no credibility.

 

They're just trying to switch it up. Everyone knows that Game of Thrones was vastly superior...although the Crown is excellent.

 

They gave blackish an award for something....so Whiteish also had to get an award....it's the new world...everyone is a winner.

Why would the award show be pro black?

 

They did some great stuff this year. So yeah.

 

Haven't seen that one yet so I can't judge.
