No one in the history of the league has put up such a stat line

Mullin had a triple double game in the high 40s if I'm not mistaken

Harden, barring an injury, will win MVP. Rockets have one of the best records in the league, and minus Harden wouldn't even be a playoff team. He's scoring more efficiently than Russ and he's a better pure playmaker.

Harden scored or assisted on what amounted to 95 points.

Mvp? Not sure about that, does nobleart have a vote?

REED's argument is gonna be that Westbrook has a worse supporting cast and is more valuable to the Thunder, but I don't agree.

Rockets don't have anybody that can create offense besides Harden. Without him, they'd be a below .500 team.

Westbrook is putting up better RAW stats, but I've been watching both consistently... Harden scores more effortlessly (with or without calls), more efficiently, and he's a more effective/smarter playmaker.

They're both having amazing seasons, and it's hard not to LIKE Westbrook more, but speaking objectively, I think Harden's looking more impressive and translating to his team winning more.

    That's Patently FALSE, Bruh...

Eric Gordon is FULLY Capable of Creating his OWN Offense...He's Had Two Seasons of 20+ppg and has NEVER Scored Less than 13 in a Season...He Has a CAREER Average of Nearly 17 a Game...Gordon's NOT a Catch and Shoot Guy Either, he Typically Gets his Points Off the Dribble...

To Repeatedly Say "Houston Has Nobody Other than Harden that Can Create Offense" is INACCURATE...And this is the 2nd Time REED has Dropped Gordon's Name on You...

But You're NOT a Harden Fan, Right???...

    Houston is 26-9, OKC's 21-13...

You Speak as if Houston has a MUCH Better Record, When they DON'T...And if they Meet in the Playoffs, Give REED OKC...They're 1-1 Against Each Other, this Season...

I said create offense. Not create their own shot. Meaning, actually creating for others. No one else on that team is capable of such besides Harden. And also, in regards to Gordon, the guy has been RIDDLED with injuries for years, and is NOTHING now compared to what he was 6 years ago.

Gordon was once one of the more athletic guards in the league. Now he mainly can just shoot.

If Gordon was their best player, I assure you they wouldn't be a playoff team.

And no, not a Harden fan AT ALL. A Harden hardcore hater is more like it. Just calling it objectively.

If WB put up that same stat line, I assure you that you wouldn't bring up nor care about how many TO's he had.

8 turnovers is definitely awful even for a guy who created 95 points for his team.

Not sure what's wrong with 18 free throws? The goal is to score points and free throws count

Drawing fouls IS a skill. There's NO elite scorer in history who woulda been able to be an elite scorer if they didn't perfect the ability to get to the line.

Are Harden's foul drawing tactics always honorable? No.

Is he effective at it? Very. Even WITHOUT the questionable calls, the guy is damn good at getting defenders in foul trouble. He's hard as fuck to guard 1 v 1.

REED'll Take it a Step Fuuuuurther by Saying MOST of Harden's Foul Drawing Tactics are DISHONORABLE...

Instead of Focusing on MANIPULATING the Refs Into Calling Fouls, just PLAYthefuckingGAME...The Blatant Manipulation is Bad Enough, but Harden COMPOUNDS the Shit by Bitching When his Tactics Aren't Rewarded, to the Point of Leaving His Team Stuck Out, Playing 4 on 5, on the Other End of the Floor...

Harden is Waaaaaaaaaaaaaay Toooooooooooooo GOOD to Bog the Game Down to Bullshit, via Ref Manipulation and DISINTEREST on the Defensive Side of the Ball...Yet These are MAJOR Facets of his Game, on a Nightly Basis...

    REED'll Say This...

The Absolute WORST Time to Complain is Right After the No Call, when the Other Team has Retrieved the Ball, They're in Transition, Looking to Score...Harden OFTEN Leaves his Teammates Out to Dry, on Some 4-on-5 Shit, Because he's BITCHING about a No Call...

    Fuck That...

not related to bitching at refs but here are some interesting stats

Westbrook is using more possessions (1,771 to 1,711), but Harden has produced more points (2,018 to 1,883)

And he MORE than Makes Up for it in Other Facets of his Game...

Fuuuuurthermore, Westbrook DOESN'T Ref Bait AND he @ Least TRIES to Play Defense...Westbrook's Level of Effort is Above and BEYOND Reproach, League Wiiiiide, Whereas Harden's LACK Thereof is Precisely WHY he was Exempt from All-NBA Teams, Last Season...

He DOESN'T Leave his Team in 4-on-5 Scenarios NEARLY as Much as Harden Does, and there's NO Comparison WHATSOEVER, in their All Around Effort...

Westbrook is Actually the LAST Player Someone Should Reference, When Attempting to Paint Harden in a Favorable Light...

im not attempting to paint anyone in any favorable light. I just find it ironic you mention that scenario when i see westbrook do it all the time too. always bitching at refs, always getting techs, complaining after the game the other night. he leaves his team in 4 on 5 scenarios at times to complain.

Westbrook DOESN'T Do it Near as Much as Harden, DOESN'T Ref Bait Near as Much, and Puts Forth MORE All Around, Full Court EFFORT, in 12 Minutes of Play, than Harden Typically Does in 48 Minutes...

Again, There's NATHAN to See Here Folks...

Comparing a Guy who Received the "Shaqtin' a Fool MVP", Based on LACK of Effort, to Russell Westbrook???...

Interesting anomaly in the Rockets blowout win over the Clippers a few nights ago. Harden had a statistically impressive triple double in 33 minutes of play, but carried a head-scratching +/- of -1 during a blowout win.

Of the starters, the more defensive minded Ariza and Beverley carried a +13 and a +7, while Eric Gordon had a mind-boggling +41 in 24 minutes on the floor. I assume he did that without the help of defensive stalwart, makes everybody on the floor better James Edward Harden Jr..........
