If REED Isn't Mistaken, Robinson was INJURED the Year Prior to Duncan and Pop (Who was then the GM) TANKED...THEN, Pop Fired the Coach and Took Over...

anyhow towns is right on schedule to be the next time duncan. duncan as a junior at wake forest may have been more advanced defensively than towns is but certainly NOT offensively.

if minnesota had jabari parker instead of wiggins they'd already be an 8 seed in the west. theyll still probably get that spot

We need a fightbeat Basketball radio show where you 4 can sit and talk for like an hour. Great discussions going on here.

I think Minnesota would rather have Giannis A. instead

The Greek Freak is has a lot more potential than Towns, I'll tell ya that. That's a guy who has legitimate GREATNESS potential.

Towns is missing something IMO. He'll up big numbers, and will eventually make a team a playoff contender, but I have doubts about him ever leading a title team, MUCH LESS dynasty the way Duncan did.

Nowadays, every big man is suppose to be "the next Duncan", but I don't see it. Duncan was a big man with BIG MAN SKILLS. Today's big men think they're fuckin guards and I hate it.

Wiggins will never live up to his hype, that much is apparent.

Not to say he's a bust, he's a talented player and in a few years can become an all star. But coming into the draft he was being called the next Kobe or the next McGrady. I fail to see it. Bryant and McGrady had EXCEPTIONAL talent and skills that I don't see at all in Andrew Wiggins.

As far as two guards go, Devin Booker is showing more star potential than Wiggins.

That's a great idea for real. I learn a shitload by reading what REED, X, Noble and all these guys post as I can't follow the sport a closely.

If there were a radio show, I'd definitely listen. Just keep Karl out this time

i never said anyone was the next duncan until towns rolled around. towns has the complete game. footwork in the post and touch around the rim, jump hook with either hand. supremely talented kid. Id take him over anyone right now to build a team around

Davis is a great talent too. him and towns are clearly the elite young big men in the game. davis seems to get hurt a lot though. Antentekoumpo has a nice game and is very athletic but he lacks the skill/finesse of towns and davis.

About time. Charisma can only get you so far. Once upon a time he used to be a solid mucker, but that was a long time ago. Warriors could pull somebody better out of the D-League.

Looks like Livingston was wearing down and they needed to bring in a guy to spell him for a bit.

Only thing I'll ever remember that bum Varejao for is getting posterized by Wade 7 years ago.

:atu: What a glorious piece of shit he is.

.....and the OTHER guy gets called for the foul, in OT no less, and Houston wins by 4. Truly an MVP move by the master.

.....and another game where somehow Harden shoots almost as many free throws as the entire other team, despite being soft as a potato fucking pancake.

How anybody can root for this cunt who doesn't live directly in downtown Houston, I'll never know.

In a way I can't blame him though. NBA allows this behavior to persist. Not only allows it, but condones it and perpetuates it.

It also seems to have a lot to do with the referee crew for a particular game. Seen plenty of games where they let them play to......but it seems to be more few and far between lately.

I was watching the Portland / Dallas game last night. A completely non-physical game, and in the span I was watching there were about half a dozen foul calls when I saw zero contact whatsoever. Even when I'd rewind and rewatch the same play over and over. Mostly simple jump shots. The only constant, was the player who got the call on them would make some sort of jerking motion in the middle of some un-makeable shot, and the refs would instantly blow the whistle.

That's easy to do when you've obviously got incriminating pics of 3/4's of the refs in the league going down on Jared from Subway and Ralph Malph from "Happy Days". :nono:
