Best Man was mehhhh. Best Man sequel was one of the worst movies ever.

The Wood is an EXCELLENT movie!

"Temptation" by Tyler Perry is quite possibly THE worst movie in cinematic history. Actually, not possibly... it is. I can't think of one worse. Makes "The Happening" seem like Lawrence of Arabia.

The last Cuba film I watched was Men of Honor. Saw a poster for Boat Trip and figured his serious career is over.

 

Black dudes have come along way with the fake hair. Gone are the days of the Carlos Boozer boot polish.

 

Spike Lee is a flat out rat faced cunt and I would tell him that to his face make no mistake about it. Why does he think people need to see his annoying face in every one of his films. By the way the reason he thinks he's a god is because a large contingent of the African American community treat him like that. Whenever he's interviewed you see these fawning obsequious cunts in the crowd acting as though he's some messiah.

First of all, TP's demographic isn't just "black, southern women" anymore. That's how he got started, but at this point, EVERYBODY is going to see his pathetic movies, including whites. His ideology is dangerous because he perpetuates virtually every negative black stereotype in his movies and it gives white people watching who don't know any better the false impression that we're ALLLLL fat, loud, ignorant buffoons.

Feel free for me to pick apart any one of his popular movies to note examples of his coon ideology, but I don't think I have to because you see it as well.

There's no comparing these two. Spike is a great filmmaker, and Perry is arguably the worst filmmaker ever.

And there's no defending Perry's ego... he's extremely arrogant. And I HOPE he believes his movies are quality, because that might be excusable. If he KNOWS what he truly is, then he's totally fine with PIMPING the black race to the white masses with his coonery bullshit movies.

The Last Dragon isn't UNDERRATED though. It's a cult classic and it's a pretty damn well known movie.

I hear Spike's next movie is called "Like I Said Before"... so perhaps Sly's opinion of him will change.

 

The color purple is a very good movie. The movie is not underrated though. It scores 88% on Rottentomatoes.

 

Spike Lee's movie about Malcolm X is a masterpiece imo. Briliant performance by Denzel.
