Actors that you just cannot stand, to the point where you avoid their films

How are some actors that get on your nerves so much that you are likely to not watch any film that they are involved in?


For me it's Cuba Gooding Jnr

 

I cannot stand Brad Pitt.

 

I don't think I avoid any movie just because a specific actor might be in it. If the director is good enough they know an actors limitations and can use them properly.

Examples of actors I don't really rate but will still watch their movies:

George Clooney - He's gotten a ton better, but earlier in his career he was not very skilled or nuanced as an actor, but he had a certain charisma, knew his limitations and almost always picked good directors and movies to be in.

Vin Diesel - Probably a worst case scenario for me, but he WAS in "Saving Private Ryan" and I've somewhat enjoyed some of his Sci-Fi stuff that he's made along with "Find Me Guilty" which he was passable in.

Paul Walker - Had the charisma of a bag of rocks, but I enjoyed "Eight Below" and "Running Scared", and he was actually decent in "Pawn Shop Chronicles" at the end of his career.

Cuba Gooding Jr. - "Boyz In The Hood", "People vs. O.J. Simpson", "Jerry McGuire", "Gifted Hands - The Ben Carson Story".............................................ok, I'm joking about that last one. ::

 

Mark Wahlberg, crap actor and a very punchable face.

Ashton Kutcher
Jackie Chan (even the better stuff from back in the day)

I can't stand Ashton Kutcher either.

 

Mark wahlberg is a good one too. Can't stand him. Avoid his films like the plague

luckily he has never been in a good movie, so i'm not missing much

 

Easy:
Johnny Depp (decent enough when he doesnt ´powder-up´, stupid costumes and camp things beyond belief in Tim Burton movies for US$50 million a picture. Unfortunately, thats what he been doing for the last 10 years)
Will Smith (obvious reasons - just over-bearingly smug on and off-screen....to the point where you think ´´he isn´t acting: this is how the cunt is, day-in, day-out´´)

Cuba hasn't been a relevant actor in a VERY long time. And nobody actually considers Cuba a great actor like they do Will.

 

True, I was a bit confused with Sly´s dislike of him.

Will Smith though - I cant think of anything except the trio from 10 years ago of: I Am Legend / Hancock (to a degree) and The Pursuit Of Happyness...that I enjoyed him in....

 

Oh I fully agree that Cuba is a better actor than Will.

This is not about being a bad actor or a good actor, it's about having a personal disdain for a particular actor for whatever reason

I'm pretty indifferent toward Cuba Gooding Jr. I'm neither a fan nor do I particularly dislike him. He's "just there" for me.

Smith on the other hand, fuck that WHOLE FAMILY! Fuck Will, Jada, his slutty little daughter and his faggot son.

OHHH and add this annoying midget to the list.... KEVIN HART! I fucking RE....FUSE to watch a Kevin Hart movie.

 

I've seen boys in the hood, jerry McGuire, radio and one other Gooding film. The guy gets on my bloody nerves so I don't watch anymore

 

I used to like will smith films but I went completely off him when he went out of his way trying to promote the career of that cornrows wearing, no talent having, cross dressing son of his.

Now I avoid him like the plague. I despise his masquerade and the dishonest way he portrays himself, him and his whole fucking family (in the voice of the Senator from Godfather 2)

 

Cuba has one of the most punchable faces in Hollywood. And no, he's not a particularly good actor. In boys in the hood the kid that played a ten year old Trey was a far better actor than Cuba was in that film. Shiiiiiiit....Ice Cube was better than Cuba in Boyz.
