Maybe he was talking at 154? I doubt he would say such an absurdity since they were talking a few minutes earlier that Benitez was the youngest ever

I think CanYellow was younger. Perhaps Nando also.

Matt Hilton was also 21 when he won the 154 title.

Damn. Thurman really is David Haye Jr.

  4. Dog Jones

Dog Jones WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

So he'll break his achilles in the sixth round and proceed to get knocked out of the ring in the 11th?

  5. D MAN

Official pick- Garcia, pretty easy. Thurman NOT confident here. Garcia has been through tougher dudes.

 additional time would be purely to satisfy those looking to see someone get hurt. The fight was over.

Shawn Porter in a suit made by Purina Cat Chow.

Thurman has landed some big shots but Garcia still looks pretty relaxed.

    ALLLL Thurman so far.

Yeah. Great fight so far. Thirman's right hand getting there quicker than Garcia's left-hook. Good work from both guys though.

  13. D MAN

    D MAN "Twinkle Toes" McJack

Thurman doing good.. but starting to look gassed??!? I dont know..

  14. Wiser 1878

    Wiser 1878 Bridgerweight Champion

Thurman can land that big right with no jab or anything. Garcia's doing some good work to the body but he's behind now.

  15. whiskey

    whiskey Czarcasm

Garcia behind for sure but hasn't expended as much energy.

  16. Wiser 1878

    Wiser 1878 Bridgerweight Champion

Garcia's face is going to be busted and swollen by the middle rounds. He's taking way too many power punches to the dome.

  17. D MAN

    D MAN "Twinkle Toes" McJack

Garcia winning the 'ring generalship' esp in the 4th

  18. whiskey

    whiskey Czarcasm

Garcia is getting some good work done but hasn't been able to capitalize on Thurman's wild shots yet.

  19. Double L

    Double L Book Reader

Garcia with a strong 6th round.

  20. Irish

    Irish Yuge, Beautiful

Garcia looks better. Might yet stop this guy.

  21. whiskey

Agreed. Nothing spectacular but solid. Thurman is starting to reach.

  22. D MAN

    D MAN "Twinkle Toes" McJack

Thurman doesnt look like he has any tricks left

  23. D MAN

    D MAN "Twinkle Toes" McJack

Garcia putting some borderline nut shots in

  24. D MAN

    D MAN "Twinkle Toes" McJack

    This fight is fizzling fast...

  25. whiskey

    whiskey Czarcasm

Thurman's legs still have bounce but he's arm weary.

  26. Wiser 1878

    Wiser 1878 Bridgerweight Champion

I have a very wide scorecard for a fight that I feel Garcia is still in.

I have it 79-73 for Thurman. There were a couple of really close rounds that I gave to Thurman because he was busier and had stunned Garcia. Though you could make a case for Garcia doing enough to win the round. I only gave him the sixth.

  27. D MAN

    D MAN "Twinkle Toes" McJack

Garcia could easily have 4 of the first 9 rounds depending on how its scored.

  28. Jesus of montreal

Jesus of montreal WBC Silver Diamond Emeritus Champ

    Thurman winning clearly so far

  29. Wiser 1878

    Wiser 1878 Bridgerweight Champion

Farhood has it 88-83 for Thurman. I have in 89-82. I had both Brook-Porter and Thurman-Porter 115-113 for the winners.

Thurnan is looking really sloppy now
