Dont think even head-injuries would be needed: arm-bar or choke-hold would suffice...

    Floyd: 49 fights and had 26 ko's. 53%

    Bernard Hopkins: 65 fights and had 32 ko's. 49%

    James Toney: 89 fights and had 46 ko's. 52%

Their path to these percentages was equally similar. Plenty of ko's early in the career, very few last decade of career. Not even remotely close. Please.

But I said 'won' by ko!!! Please don't go there. That's a nonsensical distinction.

REED's Point was Clear...CRYSTAL, in Fact...

The Only "Nonsensical" Distinction Being Made is YOU Equating a Man w/FEWER Fights and ZERO Losses to Those w/Considerably MORE Fights/Losses...

The TRUEST Way to Measure KO% is by WINS, Not by Total Number of Fights...Why???...Because a Fighter Obviously DIDN'T Win by KO in a Fight he LOST...DUH!!!...Some Shit Goes w/Out Saying...

You CAN'T Get Get a TRUE Measure of Earnie Shavers or Cleveland Williams' KO Proficiency Because they LOST a Shitload of Fights...But if You JUST Base their KO% Off the Fights they WON, You'll Get a More ACCURATE Assessment of their Power...

It's NOT That Difficult to Grasp, Unless You're Going OUT of Your Way to Be Contrarian About the Shit...

w/the Exception of his Stint @ 130, Floyd Was in NO Way on the Same Level of BHop and Toney as PUNCHERS (And REED Ain't Making Them Out to Be All-Time Greats in that Regard, Either)...

Reed, you're just moving goalposts. Your point was wrong. Oh, and if you talk shit about getting ko's and you lose in a distance fight, it's pretty stupid to argue that it shouldn't be held against you in this discussion. We aren't arguing about who had more power or who was the bigger puncher or that. I was pointing out that talking ko and going the distance was not unique to Floyd, but very similar to what Bernard and Toney did. It clearly is.

its adorable how the Brothers Dim will always back up each others asinine claims. i suspect their synchronized ignorance is attributable to these siamese canuckleheads sharing the same walnut sized brain.

care to elaborate on how mike tysons situation is analogous to a possible mayweather jr- mcGregor fight?

tyson wasnt granted a boxing license by the NSAC because he committed a HEINOUS act in the ring. have mayweather jr or mcGregor ever done such a thing? tyson was also convicted of rape. the commission didnt seem too concerned with the jail bid mayweather jr did, as he has fought there several times since. so it cant be about that.

the ONLIEST reason anyone could think they would block this fight is because mcGregor is a novice boxer, is that your angle? certainly has zero correlation to mike tyson, nor did it prevent the commission from allowing a novice like Brock Lesnar from competing.

then again i must consider the source. no one aside from you two twits thinks the state commission will block the fight from happening.

Your quote was that the nevada state comission would never pass on the money that this event would bring, which shows an absolute lack of knowledge (which isn't surprising to say the least) since they refused to sanction tyson Lewis, another event who would have brought in a ton of money, for some minor reasons. That the situations are not exactly the same is irrelevant to the point, and is only a sad attempt at saving face. And the lesnar is in no way similar. First, he had already fought a defeated a decent mma fighter. Secondly, he was fighting a guy who was seen as washed up at the time, not one of the best ever.

Even if Floyd wanted it to go the distance, it won't. McGregor will be throwing bombs with every punch, because he knows he's not gonna outbox Floyd so his only chance is to KO him. The problem is, none of those bombs will even come close. As it is, Conor doesn't have great cardio, so after a round or so of swinging and missing, Conor's tongue will be hanging out of his mouth and he'll be a stationary target looking for a chance to quit.

Not to mention that it was strongly rumoured that the 2009 potential anderson silva rjj boxing match was not going to be sanctionned because of the disparity in experience

Its pretty well known that why they refused to licence tyson was because of the brawl at the press conference (even if it was not the official reason) which is a hell of a minor reason. But then, your desperately trying to save face in the last few posts

    Huh???...

This is a Mayweather-McGregor Thread, REED Referenced Floyd TALKING KO w/Out Delivering and YOU Brought Toney and BHop Into the Mix...YOU "Moved Goalposts" and Pulled that Lame, Straw Man Shit You LOATHE In Others...Had NATHAN to Do w/Those 2, yet YOU Brought Them Into the Fray Anyways...

How EXACTLY Was REED's Point Wrong???...Does Floyd NOT Talk KO and FAIL to Deliver???...Did REED Say Toney and Bernard DON'T Promise KO While Failing to Deliver???...REED Never 1nce Said it Was UNIQUE to Floyd, Did He???...Did Toney and Bernard NOT Win by KO @ a Higher Rate Than Floyd???...

    % of WINS By KO

    Floyd 53%
    Toney 61%
    BHop 58%

From the Outset, REED CLEARLY Stated "WON By KO", So What EXACTLY is he Wrong About Here???...

As for the KO% Argument You're TRYING to Make, it's ALWAYS Been Dumb Calculating it Based on Total # of Fights...Since You Obviously CAN'T KO a Guy in a Loss, Draw, etc., it's Silly Factoring Total Fights Into the Equation...

Again, REED References Earnie Shavers, Unquestionably 1 of THE Hardest Punchers in Boxing History...Counting TOTAL Fights, Shavers KO Ratio is 76%...Respectable for Sure, but When You Consider his % of WINS by KO is 92%, it Paints a More ACCURATE Picture of Why Shavers is Regarded as Such...

REED Never Said Toney and BHop HAVEN'T Promised KO's w/Out Backing Them Up...But they Damn Sure Haven't Done it the EXTREME Floyd Has, in the BIGGEST, Most LUCRATIVE Fights of his Career...REED Can't Say he's EVER Walked Away from a Toney or BHop Fight Feeling FLEECED...But that's Happening More and MORE w/Floyd Bouts...

And Floyd-McGregor Would Only ADD to that List...

two more fights tyson committed fouls. whats the fucking difference? the guy was a major league fuck up and some dumbasses on the NSAC wanted to make a statement with him. shit has absolutely nothing to do with mayweather jr or mcGregor. bottom line here is if the fight is gonna happen it WILL happen in las vegas. and there is not a shot in hell the commission will stand in the way.

lol, if you had any sense of dignity, you would have have just stay hidden. But then, I guess that after being used as a whipping boy and making a fool of yourself so many times, you lost any kind of self respect you may once had

This thread once again shows that besides being an imbecile, you're also dangerously ignorant

This fight, regardless of the result, will be the second richest event of all-time connected with 'Boxing'.

If you don't or can't see that, then you're ignorant or naíve to what's going on with Boxing and UFC...

Two different things. I'm saying I'm not stupid enough to buy this. And the fact it is strictly boxing means it is essentially a fixed fight. None of that contradicts anything you've said.
