I haven't yet seen the Jacobs fight but from what I read, but was a close fight that could have been scored either way. So based on this result how do you see a Canelo vs GGG fight? Surely Canelo has a stronger chin than Jacobs so if Jacobs can go the distance with GGG then we should expect Canelo to do the same. Do you now see this as a close to 50-50 fight or is GGG still the prohibitive favourite in your mind?
The only three people that could have scored the fight either way were Eugenia Williams, Ray Charles and Stevie Wonder. GGG is the favourite. He won't be fighting a guy with arms and elbows and reach advantage....he will be fighting a guy that lost 4 rounds to Amir Khan.
Jacobs might've gotten the benefit of the doubt for not getting blown out; Golovkin received that same benefit for being Golovkin.

Jacobs outcome has no bearing on Alvarez's chances, imo. Alvarez is smaller and shorter. And presumably, does not hit as hard.
