Lillard is basically in the same boat as Irving. Technically a point guard, but really just a pure scorer. CJ is the better playmaker on the Blazers.

To REED, Lowry's in that Jeff Teague, Dennis Schroeder, D'Angelo Russell, Goran Dragic, Rajon Rondo Mix...

Bron is a SMALL FORWARD, Neil....You KNOW This...

Facilitating Doesn't Necessarily MAKE You a Point Guard...Hell, @ ANY Given Point of a Basketball Game, a Player Will Likely Be @ EVERY Position...

You KNOW Good and Well James Harden IS NOT a PG, Nor is Bron...Let's NOT Insult Anyone's Intelligence Here, Homey...

    Because...well....he does.

But the playoffs matter a lot in the overall rating of a player. Lowry performs better in the regular season than Mike Conley for example... but I'd much rather have Conley in the playoffs.

And ohhh for Christ sake, REED! Lowry is better than Jeff Teague! Don't go THAT far!

james is a point forward. much like ben simmons will be. to me whoever runs the offense is the de facto point guard. scottie pippen for the bulls filled that role.

Llillard's a BETTER Playmaker than Kyrie Though...agreed Otherwise, as SIZE Dictates Kyrie "Play" PG, when he's REALLY an Undersized 2-Guard, ala, Iverson, Though their Games were VASTLY Different...

I'll humor Neil, but the fact is, no one called him a PG until this year... because D'Antoni's system can make any primary ball handler look like John Stockton.

To be fair to Harden... he's one of the better passing two guards we've ever seen.

Iverson was a better playmaker than both Lillard and Irving though. Shit, Iverson was Steve Nash compared to Irving. Kyrie's a mediocre passer at best.

no. there is a difference between running the offense through the post and a perimeter player who initiates the offense a majority of the time.

Lowry's Been Around AWHILE Now, and Not 1nce has REED Ever Felt Like he was a Top 5 PG...

Good, Capable Player, but @ a Position Where Just About EVERY Team has a Quality Guy...Top 10 on his BEST Day, Top 15, Typically...

Prior to getting injured this year, he was having a top 5-6 season among PG's.

I mean, two guys are a given.... Westbrook and Curry. Those two are just on a different universe than Lowry as players.

Lowry was having a comparable season to every other PG prior to the all star break.

Blake is NOT more athletic than Shawn Kemp. Not at all!

I'd say Kemp was one of the top 10 most athletic players in league history. Blake is not.

    Fuck that lightskinned choker!

Yeah Blake is garbage. I wouldn't even be excited if he comes to OKC like some think he will.

Remember when Blake was suppose to become the next Barkley and Kevin Love was suppose to become the next Dirk? Yeaaaa, neither of those quite panned out...

    "Not at All" REED's Ass...

Don't Allow Your Contempt for Blake the PLAYER to Cloud Your Judgement of him ATHLETICALLY...

REED Can't Think of a Single PF that ABSORBED Mid-Air Contact in Route to More THROWDOWN's than Blake...Throwdown's Being Particularly Important, as it Emphasizes How HIGH Griffin Was, Above the Rim...

The Head AT or ABOVE the Rim, as he's WINDMILL Dunking, was Another Staple...

I don't allow my contempt for any player cloud my judgement of their athletic abilities.

We all know I hate Lebron, yet I'll be the first to admit he's one of the most athletic players ever.

Hops aren't EVERYTHING when it comes to athleticism. I suggest you back and re-watch some early-to-mid 90s Kemp games and highlights. He was quicker, stronger, with better body control, more grace, and equal hops to Griffin.

    He was MORE athletic.

kemp was longer than griffin. griffin has short arms, and some argue that is why he doesnt block many shots and why he has a weak post game and prefers to face up

I value fluidity over hops when it comes to measuring b-ball athleticism. Kemp was far more fluid in his movements than stiff ass Griffin, and Kemp had a MUCH quicker first step. Kemp could also run the floor just as quickly as Lebron.

I don't see an argument for Blake AT ALL. Kemp was an athletic phenom. Far and away the most athletic PF of all time, IMO.

Sorry, but No PF's in History Ran the Floor like Bron...Hell, REED's Hard Pressed to Think of Other SF's Who Matched Bron in that Regard...

The Athletic PF Race Consists of 3 Players; Kemp, Blake and Prime Amare Stoudemire...There was NATHAN "Far and Away" About Kemp's Athleticism, as Compared to Theirs...

Wow. On the Westbrook vs Harden debate.

    1. Virtually everyone predicted OKC to finish with a better record than the Rockets and his teammates were rated higher than Harden's before the season started. One chose to isolate his teammates and go for MVP, the other got his teammates involved.

    2. Westbrook doesn't pad his stats? I'm looking at you REED. There's so many examples of okc's big men boxing out for WB to get those rebounds, it's so blatant. Even missed free throws!! In my many years of watching hoops, I've never seen that before.

    3. Westbrook was a worse defender than Harden this year. I can give a shitload of facts like WB's stats on challenging 3 point shots. Hassan Whiteside challenged more 3 point shots than WB!! He was too busy looking for those rebounds.

    4. WB's teammates look disinterested, even in the playoffs. Why? Maybe WB shooting 43 freaking times? No wonder Durant left his chucking ass.

    5. WB deserves MVP because of breaking history. Does that include his 4-18 shooting in the 4th quarter in game 2? That's never been done. Oscar Robertson didn't win the MVP when he averaged a triple double, hell he came in 3rd!

    6. Patrick freaking Beverley outplayed WB in game one. WB will shoot for under 40% in this series. That is why this faux mnufactured "MVP" will get SWEPT.
