    Oh lordy lordy.

Who in their right mind thought OKC had a better "team" then Houston, once Durant defected to Golden State?

Harden is able to do a lot what he does on the offensive side of the ball BECAUSE of Patrick Beverley covering his ass on the defensive side.

bleacher report : rockets 38-44. 11th in west.
    thunder 43-39. 7th in west.

CBS sports: 10. Houston Rockets (8th, 41-41 last season)

It’s hard to believe Mike D’Antoni is back and he’s coaching the Houston Rockets. James Harden now has Eric Gordon and Ryan Anderson to help in the scoring department on a team that will be built on offense. Defense will likely be optional for the D’Antoni-led Rockets. They should take a bit of a dip this season because of that.

    6. Oklahoma City Thunder (3rd, 55-27 last season)

The Thunder are the obvious choice here to take a dip in the standings. Losing Durant will make this team a first-round playoff exit…that can potentially miss the playoffs if they lose Russell Westbrook to an injury. The franchise point guard gets a bit of backcourt help with Victor Oladipo in the mix, but the rest of the Thunder depth outside of Steven Adams/Enes Kanter is questionable. It’s going to be hit-or-miss for the Thunder this year, but they should be good enough to make the playoffs.

Las Vegas win prediction over/unders: rockets 41.5
    thunder 45.5

Call if hindsight or whatever, the Rockets obviously had the better team and talent between the two. Regardless of whatever any preseason prognosticator said about the matter. The wild card was whether or not certain guys would stay healthy or not.

definitely hindsight. and while youre at it mentioning beverly you may as well bring up roberson who ALWAYS guards the toughest perimeter player to take the pressure off westbrook defensively.

So you're saying OKC had better talent on their team then Houston?

......and don't change the subject. This is about my Harden hate being satiated. Not Westbrook. Westbrook could go 0 for 20 from the floor tomorrow, and I'd still like him more then I do that rabid yellow toothed flopping beaver pelt of an excuse for an NBA Superstar. :nono:

You had your "Choking Hick", and I've got my own reasons for yelling at the TV screen and scaring the shit out of my dogs.

    Dude,

Blake can jump high. That's it. He isn't really an athletic freak in any other area besides hops.

Kemp had equal hops, more hang time, was a lot lot quicker, more explosive, better body control, and physically stronger.

He was more athletic than Blake. Period.

    Griffin's career is a sham.

Cavs about the sweep the Pacers. Indiana looks they basically quit.

    Warriors will sweep Portland tomorrow.

Unfortunately, like Neil said, he is a little guy and he will eventually wear down. He's got heart though. He'll go down kicking and screaming, unlike his shitty team-mates.

Clips are fucked now. That had the perfect opportunity to win last night with Hayward out sick, which would have put them up 3-1.... yet still couldn't get it done. So for game 5, Hayward will be back and now they have Gobert back.

CP3 is gonna have to go OFF in order for the Clips to win game 5.

Tonight, we have Bucks-Raptors game 5. That should be good.

Warriors will finish off the Blazers tonight. They don't even need KD.

    Nope...

You Can Go to Whatever Lengths in Convincing YOURSELF...REED Actually SAW Both Motherfuckers w/his OWN Eyes...You're Acting Like Blake's Tim Duncan w/Hops, which is ASSinine...But Considering You DISLIKE Him, it's No Wonder You Went There...

You LITERALLY Said Kemp was AS FAST as LeBron James, Which is All that REALLY Needs to Be Said about YOUR Ability to Rate and Recognize Athletic Talent, Bruh...

    SWEPT, Huh???:bravo:...

If Not for Your Squad's CHICKENSHIT "Hack-a-Roberson" Tactics and the FACT he's THE Most Offensively INEPT Starter in the NBA, the Series is TIED...2-16 from the Line???...11 CONSECUTIVE Missed Free Throws???...Nene Shooting 12-12 from the Field???...THAT'S Why Houston's Up 3-1...

    1. What EXACTLY Does Pre-Season Opinion Have to Do w/Now, 82 Games and 4 PLAYOFF Games Into the 2016-17 Season???...CLEARLY, James Harden has a SUPERIOR Supporting Cast @ his Disposal, and it's NOT Even Close....Eric Gordon, Ryan Anderson, Lou Williams, Nene...Every Single 1 of Them has Played BETTER than ANY Of Westbrook's Teammates...Gordon and Williams are AVERAGING 15 and 18pts PER GAME This Series, BOTH Shooting a HIGHER % Than Your Bearded Hero...And Nene Was THE Best Houston Rocket on the Floor Yesterday, Bar None...

    2. NO, Westbrook DOESN'T Pad his Stats...His Team was 33-9 When he Registered a Triple Double, Meaning they NEEDED Him to Record Triple Doubles...Westbrook has ALWAYS Rebounded Well for his Position...

    3. James Harden had the Single WORST Defensive Season in NBA History, Last Year...Would You like REED to Re-Post the Video???...It's Comedic GOLD and Would Diarrhea Shit Upon ANY Defensive Footage You Could Post of Westbrook, This Season or ANY Other...

    4. What are You, a Basketball Psychologist Now???...Projecting What You WANT OKC Players to Feel, in Regards to Westbrook???...Whenever They're Interviewed, Westbrook's Teammates RAVE About Him...Period...You Think Roberson Doesn't APPRECIATE a Teammate Like Russ, Considering his Offensive FAILURES???...You Think Oladipo DOESN'T Take Advantage of Being SHIELDED by a Player of Russ' Caliber, as he JUSTIFIES Being Given Up On and TRADED by Orlando???...

You Don't Think Steven Adams APPRECIATES Russ Coming to His Defense when Asked WHY the Team Sucks as Bad as They Do, When He's On the Bench???..

    5. Should Harden Get MVP when he's OUTSCORED by No Fewer than 3 Teammates, in a Particular Game???...Hell, if REED's Not Mistaken, Harden's Led them in Scoring Only 2 Times in 4 Games...Harden has the LUXURY of an Off Shooting Game, Because he has Better TEAMMATES, Who Can Carry His Load when Roberson is Getting All UP In that Ass on D...Westbrook HAS to Lead his Team in the Categories he Does, For Them to Win...

    6. Yep, Beverley Sure Did Outplay Russ in Game 1...How's the REST of the Series Working Out for him Though???...You Got All HOT and BOTHERED, Cause Your Squad Went Up 2-0...And Now, Your Boy is Caught Up in an Altercation w/a FAN, Because he Damn Sure AIN'T Done Much of Anything Else Since Game 1...Go Ahead and Put That on Beverley's Basketball Tombstone, as it's as GOOD as it Will EVER Get for Him, in a Direct Comparison...

    SWEPT???...

Houstons bench players +/- stats are freaking crazy, nearly every game. That's where they win their games. I hate to say it, but Harden is very good, and he carries a heavy load, but like I said before Houston plays about Even with the other team when he is on the floor. The bench is the difference between Houston being a .500 team last year, and a 55 win team this year. Not James Harden, who's not playing any better then he did last year...........he just has the ball in his hands more.

....and yes, you could make the exact same argument about Westbrook, except for the fact that his team gets so much worse in nearly every facet of the game, when he's not on the floor.

I'm not even comfortable with this debate either. It might win somebody an MVP and pile up a bunch of stats, but I've always said that a team with a single player as ball dominant as Houston or OKC are not going to go very far in the playoffs.

Difference Is, REED Predicted His Shit WELL In Advance, Instead of Taking the LAME, WEAK Ass Route of Convenience, When a Team is UP 2-0, to Offer ANY Opinion Whatsover On the Matter...

If Roberson Weren't THE WORST Offensive Starter in the NBA, This Series is TIED Right Now...

    FACT!!!....

aside from his epic futility at the free throw line, roberson hasnt been any more of a liability offensively than we previously knew about. you take the good with the bad. he is an elite defender. if anything donovan should be blamed for leaving him in the game when he missed 11 straight free throws :atu:

if you wanna get into if's it would also be tied 2-2 if westbrook didnt go 4-18 in the fourth quarter of a game

in fact, roberson is averaging damn near 14 points per game this series, more than anyone on the squad aside from westbrook

to me it shows the way the team is constructed/coached is flawed. you could put a lot of houstons guys on OKC and they wouldnt do nearly as well. nene is playing great, but anyone in their right mind would take adams over him. adams is shooting over 60%, not sure why they cant get him more opportunities.

Due to Westbrook, Roberson and Oladipo Get Wiiiiiide OPEN Looks @ the Basket...Put Gordon or Williams on OKC, Give Them the SAME EXACT Looks Oladipo and Roberson are Getting & This is a Different Series...Stevie Wonder Can Even SEE That...

Steve Kerr out in-definitely for the playoffs, which means Mike Brown could possibly interim head coach his way to the title
