    This...

Say What You Will about Joshua's Resume, He Hasn't Been PROTECTED...If he Was, the Whyte Fight NEVER Happens...You Don't Take a Risk Like THAT, w/an Opponent Who's Already BEATEN Your Guy, if You're Protecting Him...

    Right...

If You Box Loooooooooong Enough, You're BOUND to Get Hit...Joshua Didn't See the Shot Coming, it Landed High on the Head, he Wobbled a Bit, Gathered Himself and Resumed Control of the Fight...

While Wlad is OBVIOUSLY Quite Capable of Hurting Joshua, it's DOUBTFUL He Lands the Same Type of Shot Whyte Hit Him w/...

Whyte'll Never Be a World Champion, but he'll Be a SOLID Top 10-15 Guy for the Bulk of his Career...

    A Gatekeeper, if You Will...

Yep, Joshua's ALL WRONG for Today's Version of Wlad, Which is Why it STILL Puzzles REED This Bout is Even Happening...

The Guy that Couldn't/Wouldn't Pull the Trigger Against Fury is All of a Sudden Supposed to Revert to his Pre-Manny Steward Days, vs. Joshua????...

    NOT!!!...

I don't see how Wlad can win this, in all honesty. He's not Lennox Lewis. It's not in his nature to go bombs away. He's gonna be spooked by AJ's own power and hand speed once he starts getting touched up.

This will be a passing of the torch.

:crafty: Didn't the NSA go "rainbow" while Edward Snowden was busy spilling his guts?.. I think the pentagon might have joined in too. Gorgeous lighting, like a threatened octopus.

I have been wondering the same. Since Wlad was spooked by Fury, what an earth can he do differently here and why is the bout even happening.

Could it be that Fury was all wrong for Wlad? Fury had the reach and movement to trouble Wlad at this age and he didn't know what to do in there, he couldn't let his hands go the same way Tito couldn't figure out Winky's style. The last time an opponent actually rushed Wlad, he still did good (against Pulev).

Maybe he believes that he gets his hands going when pressured? That, or the fight is about pride, even if he has no shot

I've got numerous bets on this fight with guys at work who think that this will go the distance. I stand to make a fair bit of cash from this if Joshua gets the job done inside the distance.

Irish getting carried away like the SKUM Sports commentators with ´Joshua on verge of being knocked-out´ (02:05):

    <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/qPvXjC0OTJg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>

Dude wobbled, took a few steps back and then started firing bombs back.
    Joshua has some ´Frochability´.

While I don't think Wlad can beat Joshua at this stage in his career, I have to give him props for taking such a dangerous fight.

Agreed. Mosley was infinitely better than Mayorga, but Mayorga beat Forrest by throwing wild looping shots that started outside Forrests range of vision and looped into the target.

    Wlad won't throw wild shots.

    That could be an undoing.

He's fought everybody he could have. It doesn't get mentioned enough. They say he avoided Brewster.........Brewster was off making Millions {for Don King} fighting guys like Kali Meehan and a shot Golota. They kept the bum routine going with the Lyakhovich routine.

Klitschko fought ToS and Sam Peter instead :nono:

90,000 people in an outdoor football arena against an unbeaten machine holding the title and an Olympic Gold medal from 2012????

" Remember that night in the Garden...... my night.......I coulda taken Wilson apart!!!"

Wlad wants to have class. He wants to be a contender, he wants to something other than the guy who lost to Fury, which is what he is, let's face it..........until Saturday night.

Amazing............when Lewis retired, his stock rocketed.

Lewis retired wanting nothing more to do with Vitali.........Wlad won't go down that route.

He's going out, his way..........shit or bust.

    I like it.

They don't put signs like this up everyday.

I'm no fan of Wlad but I agree, there really isn't anyone you could say he ducked or avoided. He was in a shit era but that's not his fault.

Tell me something, when Wlad turned pro in 1996, who was in the shitter era, him, then.........or Joshua, now :dunno:

It's ironic, n'est pas.......if Joshua beats Wlad he has a signature win.

A signature win achieved by way of beating a guy who never, we are told, had a signature win.

    How does that tally :dunno:

I don't think AJ will get a ton of credit for beating Wlad.

The critics will say he needs to beat the likes of Parker, Wilder, and the Cuban guy who holds the other belt.

He only gets credit if he blows Wlad away. If he struggles...then he needs to prove himself against the likes of Parker, Wilder and Ortiz (the Cuban?).

Yet if Wlad beat those guys right now.........he'd get fuck all credit.

    Strange business.

Nah, This Is Regarded as a Bit of a RESURGENCE within the Heavyweight Division...

So If Wlad were to Beat Joshua, then KnocK Off Those Other Names, it'd BOOST his Legacy More than those Previous 20+ Defenses Total, Undoubtedly...

But how are Parker and Ortiz any better or proven than Chagaev, Haye, Byrd, Povetkin, etc........ :dunno:

If anything they've become good by default.

lol come on. Whyte was regarded as a not so hot prospect, and he beat Joshua when he was beginning in boxing. It was far from a big risk.

Eddie Hearn tends to not risk things. If Wlad had gotten past Fury, this fight wouldn't be getting made.

The Joshua camp literally drips with "Father Time", "Get Old", "past it" language when they get asked for their opinion.

Nah. He never fought Valuev and Ruiz, who were clearly two of the top guys during WK reign. WK has a good resume, but he never cleaned the division.

WBA bullshit. Chagaev had that belt and it got stripped off to those clowns after Wlad beat him.

He beat Chagaev, Valuev got the belt, Valuev got beat by Haye, Wlad beat Haye.
