Yea I saw. Interesting just based on how adamant u were for months that gs wouldn't make it out of the west Nothing has changed for me. I said golden state will breeze thru the west since the beginning

Cleveland can win a game or two perhaps. Especially if the officiating is slanted to drag out the finals. Korner was a legit pickup so that makes me think they have a bit better chance than I initially anticipated at the start of the season

What "Changed" is the Teams REED Expected to Challenge Golden State AIN'T What they Appeared to Be, Back Then...

Until Game 3 of the West Semi's, LaMarcus Aldridge was a Complete NON-FACTOR, to the Point Kawhi was Basically a 1-Man Offense...Pau Gasol's just a Guy and Even Prior to the Quad Injury, Tony Parker Looked Like a SHELL of his Former Self...

But Make NO Mistake, Cleveland WILL Repeat as NBA Champions, Your Love Interest (Kevin Durant) will Remain RingLESS, and You'll Be Fumbling Around for Yet ANOTHER Excuse to Rationalize Why...

    REED Can't Wait....

I was listening to Chris Brousard's podcast yesterday and he had Eddie House on as his guest. Anyway CB asks Eddie why when he was on the Miami Heat with LBJ and D-Wade, why they lost the championship to Dallas and Eddie House said because Lebron wasn't locked in. He said he didn't know whether it was the thing going on with Lebron's mom and Delonte West or if it was something else, but Eddie straight up said that Lebron just wasn't himself and that's why they lost. He said people even got in Lebron's face and tried to talk to him, gave him speeches and everything and that Lebron either just had a far off glance or if he said okay he was ready, Eddie said you could tell it was the type of ready where he's just saying it but not really feeling it. I thought that was pretty interesting.

At any rate I'm definitely rooting for Cleveland to repeat once they get to the finals.

Who you guys rooting for out of The Wizards and The Celtics? I like both teams. Both are scrappy and physical and fun to watch. Hard not to root for Isiah, but I like Wall and Gortat to.

I think Cavs will easily beat whoever is comes out of that matchup, so this will be the last compelling series out of the East.

If the Spurs don't get healthy the West Finals might be a dud to.

i like the wizards team. beal is one of my favorite players in the league to watch. i think they will win and i expect them to give the cavaliers problems. golden state should breeze through whoever wins san antonio vs houston.

I think Spurs will win over the Rockets and Celts will win over the Wiz because in both instances those teams were the first team to get to three wins first and I think it's too hard to expect a team to win two in a row at this point. It's possible but much more likely it won't happen.

As for the Spurs. They keep having trouble with Capela's shot blocking. Those shot blocking guys are so easy to beat. Just pump fake, which they fall for 90% of the time, get them in the air then make them foul you.

pump faking works if its aldridge or gasol going at capela on the block or facing up but a lot of capelas blocks are coming from help defense on guys he aint matched up against. that are already on the move to the basket or in the air

Cavs will take the Celtics in 5, and the Warriors I think would deal with the Spurs easier than the Rockets. I see the Warriors beating the Spurs in 5.

Harden's legacy definitely takes a hit unless the Rockets make a miracle comeback.

First 100 year old Manu blocks his 3, now he can't get the Rockets past a Leonard-less Spurs IN HOUSTON.

    Yup... I'm smiling right now.

I've defended Harden's season ALLL YEAR LONG, and I'll admit he had a great regular season. But it was all for nothing after tonight. That was THE WORST performance by a superstar in NBA playoff history. THE WORST.

I know that DeRozan had some pathetic playoff games this year too, but DeRozan ain't a superstar so he's held to a lower standard.

Harden's suppose to go down as one of the shooting guard greats.

Shiiittttt, you'd never see Kobe or Wade in their primes have a game this pathetic in a close out situation.

    Good riddance you bearded faggot.

Pop All But ELIMINATED the Ref Baiting Bulllshit, Packed the Paint to PREVENT Harden's Penetration (Primarily) w/HELP Defense, and WON the Series from the Bench, Effectively...

Thank fucking God. Now I don't have to listen to announcers tell me how fucking "creative" he is anymore, every time he initiates contact behind the 3 point line and throws some lame duck shot off the top of the backboard to try and get a call.

I just hope he doesn't end up with CTE for all the times he has exaggeratedly snapped his head back, trying to bait a ref. Lou Gehrig's Disease is no laughing matter. :emoji_slight_frown:

He's not really a likable player that's why. His playing style is ugly, despite being effective, and he's always come across as pretty arrogant.

The only thing that's fun to watch in his game are his handles.

He's extremely gifted as a scorer and as a playmaker. But there's now SERIOUS questions surrounding not only his heart, but how effective his game translates to playoff style basketball when D turns up and he gets less ticky tack ref calls.

He's not a bum now - he's still an elite player. But after last night, I doubt he has what it takes to go down as an all time great.
