Brook has heart, but Spence mentally broke him. He hit Spence with his best, and Spence never got flustered, and never stopped applying mental pressure, and never stopped popping that jab in his eye.

From what I'm reading Spence proved himself to be the real deal, because Brook is a tough fighter. I still think it may have been a different fight pre-GGG but nevertheless I think Spence has proven himself to be the man to beat at 147lbs. I agree with Xplosive that Spence should be favoured over Thurman, though unlike him, I don't see Spence stopping Thurman.

 

Brook has a better chin than Thurman, and Thurman has a glass body.

We can sig bet if you'd like if the fight gets made. Thurman won't see the final bell.

 

Spence showed the kind of composure and long term strategy you want to see in a fighter of his type. Brook boxed better than I thought he would and he seemed physically stronger than I thought he'd be.
