Can't wait. What a stellar series.

 

I won't watch that trailer but I did just spend the past two weeks rewatching seasons 5 and 6 in preparation for the start of season 7.

 

It doesn't give anything away except that there will be a HUGE battle.

 

I don't even want to see one screen shot of one scene, I'm nuts that way.

At the end of an episode of some show me and the missus watch together, she likes to watch the preview for the next episode while I'm sitting there with my eyes closed, my fingers in my ears and going blah blah blah blah.

 

I wish I could have as much restrain as you do. I just go nuts looking everywhere for new clips and info on films or shows I want to watch and many times that spoils the surprise factor when I finally watch the movie or episode. Maybe that is why I loved so much Enter The Dragon (1973), Star Wars (1977) & Raiders of the Lost Ark(1981): I only saw a few photos and heard they were very successful at the box office and went to watch them knowing practically nothing about them...and they blew me away!

BUMMER!!!

HBO announced that season 8 won't be happening until 2019 or maybe later!! this decision is based mainly in George R.R. Martin not having written what happens next and they just want to complete the series like Martin envisions it and not risking to pull a 'Lost' like finale that disappoints everybody.

 

Who gives a fuck what's in the books? I've read up on the differences between the show and the movie and I've never ever read anything and thought "oh man, that should've been in the show!" If they were faithful to the books they'd need another 3 seasons to sort out all the filler and extra unnecessary plot lines and characters.

 

For those of you that are like me and real fanatics of this show, you can download a podcast called "binge watch". They're going to discuss every episode of every season of Thrones before season seven starts. I've been listening to them on my way to work and they're pretty good.

It's actually got me thinking about starting over and watching all the seasons from the beginning and then listening to the podcast of that episode.

 

Can you give me a good link to all the GOT episodes? The ones I have are crappy and bad quality.

 

I'm afraid I can't. Government has shut down all the torrent sites I know of except one that I use that only covers sports.

You could check out Kodi though. Just google the name and download it to your computer or either buy the fire stick for your tv and you'll have access to unlimited movies and tv shows that you can stream. Best of all, it's free and legal.

Are you nuts? I will not pay my hard earned dollars to something I can watch for free online. It is like saying "I love that newest Eminem video. I will buy the DVD, even though is available for free viewings on Youtube."

 

Most of entertainment isn't worth the price, I'll admit that. However, this one of the few that is.

 

I was listening to the podcasts that breaks down each episode of GOT's and by episode 6 I decided I wanted to watch each episode before I listened to the corresponding podcast. So I've started rewatching Thrones again from the very beginning which will be about my 5th time.

It's funny because lately I had been skipping the first three seasons and maybe rewatched episodes 4 - 6 about three or four times. Starting from the beginning again I'm amazed at how much more I understand now that I know damn near every character by name not to mention a lot of the early preshow history.

 

Tis a great show. Tremendous character development and consistency. I love how the show breaks conventional rules by killing major characters and having the bad guys win more often than not while still moving the story forward and still giving us people to root for. The villains on this show have been the most impactful in TV history. Certain scenes have just been classic:

Battle of the bastards
Red wedding
Battle of hardholm
Mountain and the Viper fight
Battle at the wall (wildlings vs night's watch)
Stanis assault on Kings Landing

Probably a few more that skip the mind for a moment.

Best show ever conceived

 

The ending of last season was epic. Cersi is evil af.

Less than two weeks to go.

 

That new trailer is beyond epic. I cannot wait!
