They should make you pay for the press conferences. Seems like more are interested in that than the fight itself.

Are you implying that Conor faked slow handspeed in sparring to give Floyd a false sense of security?

 

Compared with a boxer the guy is as slow as molasses...and that's with 4oz gloves on.

 

When the hell has Floyd faced even close to the level of trash talk that he is going to encounter vs. Conor? Never.
Floyds ego is as fragile as an egg. No doubt that Conor is going to get inside of that pee brain of Floyds.

 

Outside of the ring Floyd gets riled up by comments but so far we haven't seen this affect his performance inside the ring.

 

There is so much material for conor too..the illiteracy....the baby mommas in them fake hairs flying down the stairs...the family tree of crackheads...the love affair with fiddy....etc

 

I'm not saying that it will necessarily affect his performance. I just think that he will really be bothered by Conors trash talking

When the best "tactic" Conor has is trash talk sums up how little his chances are and how desperate his fans are.

 

Well I mean he's 0-0 going up against 49-0. HOWEVER. Luckily it's not a space ship building contest with some hoodlum going up against a NASA nerd it's a punching in the face contest so yes he definitely has a shot.

Who knows maybe he will try to prove something and go toe to toe but doubtful too smart for that but then again when you bring emotion into anything the smartest can become the dumbest.

I like Mcgregor a lot. He is the only MMA fighter I would pay to see and he is the most entertaining guy in combat sports right now. I also hate that he is so good at hyping a fight that I'll end up buying this.

Broner said it best when he said this will be the first bank robbery shown on live TV. Floyd could win this fight with 1 arm tied behind his back.

Its not 0-0 vs 49-0, its vs the best boxer of this era and arguably one of tbe.

I would maintain Condors ONLY chance is if Floyd manages to break BOTH hands very early in the fight..

 

Floyd would probably get his ass kicked if he fought world class guys at this point. His particular record and accomplishments aren't really relevant. It's a prime cage fighter vs a faded great boxer.

 

I dunno about that. I'd certainly pick even this version of Floyd over Thurman and Garcia, just to name two. I see Floyd as similar to Bernard Hopkins in that he didn't take much punishment in his prime plus didn't rely as much on athleticism as most guys but mainly on intelligence and adaptability and as such has unusual longevity potential.

 

You'll refuse to believe it and that's why Floyd is still marketable. He looked vulnerable in his last 4 or 5 fights, retired and only came back to make a billion bucks against a cage fighter. Thurman and Spence would wipe their ass with Roidy Floyd at this point.

 

Hardly slow.

If you ever needed to see how mentally weak he is - that showed it.

 

The relevance is that it would be fun to watch your hero reduces to tears.
