There probably isn't a single GM, coach, or player in the league who considers PG better than Westbrook.

You're all alone in that opinion, Neil.

I don't think the Thunder make the playoffs this past year with George carrying them instead of Russ.

Russ is simply capable of taking on more of a load night in and out.

    It's not even debatable.

It doesn't fucking matter who the Batman is and who the Robin is on OKC. The question is can they meld well enough to give OKC a chance of going anywhere come playoff time in the one year they have George under contract.

Let's face it, neither guy is going to be THE MAN on a Championship Caliber team, but together they might be good enough to make some noise.

That raised value is not just because of Steph Curry. The NBA and each team has been steadily going up in value since before 2010 and all the teams are worth more now than back then. Hell, an NBA team in Seattle right now, without any stars on it would be worth billions just based on it's location. The recent new cable tv contract that raised the salary cap certainly had more to do with all that than Steph Curry.

I'm not saying Curry doesn't raise the Dub's value but you're definitely overrating how high he raised it.

If the warriors were for sale they'd get more than 2.6 billion. My guess is 3.5 to 4 billion

Yes, I believe the Russ/PG duo can make noise in the playoffs. George always elevates his game come playoff time.

Unlike Harden/Paul, where cp3 is gonna have to become to the go-to guy in the playoffs, cause we know Softden will disappear.

This is a little early but, who's going to be the first preseason to early season ending injury this year? We know Philly has one coming and that doesn't even count whatever is taking Embid out shortly after opening night.

I bet it's going to be somebody on one of the newly revamped teams. Maybe Butler, Wiggins or Towns tears an acl. Maybe Harden, CP3 or Gordan rips a knee ligament. Or maybe Westbrook or George has an achilles tear.

There's also whoever is going to Boston. I know it's going to happen to some player on a team that I'm looking forward to watching as it happens to a couple players at the start of every season.

I can see why Reddick got more then Korver, why he got 3 times as much..........well, it's the Sixers.

I still don't see this hot shot roster they supposedly put together by tanking for the last how many years is impressive at all.

Minnesota just made themselves far more relevant in less then half the time.

    HEALTH is the X Factor...

If You GUARANfuckingTEE Even 60 Games Apiece from Simmons, Embiid, Fultze and Reddick, No Way the Sixers DON'T Make the Playoffs...

For a Team that's Perpetually Tanked, just MAKING the Playoffs Will Be Praiseworthy...

For Embiid in Particular, this is a MAKE or BREAK Year, in Terms of Injuries...If he Can't Hit the 60 Games Played Mark, it Should Rightfully Affect his Earning Potential for the Remainder of his Career...

    Meaning ZERO Max Deals, EVER...

Kevin Durant has re-signed with the Warriors for a two-year, $53 million deal. That's $9 million per year less than what he could've made.

9 mill a year is a pretty substantial pay cut

and it pretty much guaranteed the rest of the league has no chance barring injuries

Steve Ballmer is about to buy that new stadium in LA and I think that is a huge mistake. The Clippers are a hated franchise even by most of the people in LA because everyone loves the Lakers. The Clippers are never going to be the number one NBA team in LA so why not go be the number one NBA team in Seattle, a state Ballmer used to live in. It makes no sense to me how much this makes sense.

Let it go Lb. Sonics are dead. Only team that may end up there is Sacramento because the owner is a dunce.

    Gordon Hayward to the Celtics.

Definitely makes the Celtics better, but they still won't get by the Cavs. Hayward is another guy who's all star caliber, but not a superstar.

Hayward's a level below George and Jimmy Butler.

i like haywards game better than butler. butler is better defensively but hayward has a smoother offensive game. tatum and brown are both bigtime talents though, the celtics have what it takes to challenge/dethrone golden state in 2020 if they can somehow acquire anthony davis.

I'll give you Jimmy. I think it's established by now that I'm not really a fan of Butler's hype. Hayward is definitely smoother offensively.

I'd say that Hayward is better than say.... DeRozan.

REED Likes Hayward as Well, but he's Had the Luxury of Being UNDER the Radar in Utah...

There's about to Be ENORMOUS Pressure on Hayward, Being a WHITE Guy in Boston, Brought in as the Savior...REED Hopes Dude is Allowed to Be his OWN Man, but the Larry Bird Comparisons are Inevitable (and Unfair)...

Marky Mark, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon will ALL Be Rocking Hayward Jersey's by the Time the Season Starts...

This is the reactionary era in sports.

The first 40 point game Hayward has, and ESPN will be asking is he as good as Bird.

The recent Celtics-Lakers 30-for-30 truly remind us of how fucking GOOD Larry Bird was.

That was one baaddddddddd white boy.

Yeah, it will be unfair to Gordon if the comparisons start.

    Yep...

Bird was SMART, TOUGH, FEARLESS, VERSATILE, SNEAKY Athletic (In his 1st Few Years) and as CLUTCH as Anybody that Ever Played...

Didn't Get Any SCARIER than Bird w/the Ball in his Hands, for the Last Second Shot...

was amusing when bird was sitting down for an interview/discussion with James and Anthony and he said he felt disrespected if the other team had a white dude checking him

Just refreshing myself on Birds stats again, and his last year in the league when he was actually able to play in games, a crippled Bird was still averaging nearly 10 rebounds and 7 assists a game. He was putting up some incredibly consistent numbers during the lesser 2nd half of his career, even though it seemed like he could barely walk sometimes.
