Used to be a lot of really good fighters would never go on to win a belt. These days, there are plenty to go around and it seems like all the top fighters have belts.

Any recent examples of really top level guys who never won a belt?

Denis ShaftediKov is pretty good. he brung the fight to robert easter jr for 12 hard rounds only to get cheated by corruption in Ohio.

Matthysse. He rightfully SHOULD have won one against Peterson.

Can't remember if he was a waste of talent or just way overrated but if you'd said in 2000 that bojado would never even compete for a title it woulda surprised people.

In retrospect, we overrated his talent. He likely never would have been P4P material, BUT... if he was dedicated he definitely could have at least won a belt.
