    I quite liked Man of Steel, but it's no way near as good as many think it is. Completely agree with D&M. Too much violence. It just got crazy towards the end. Finding out about Zod before Superman? I didn't actually mind it. I liked how it went around the world and everyone's TV sets were taken over by Zod. I thought that was very cool.

    I cant speak for anyone else, but IMO, Ang Lee's Hulk is 10x better and is one of the best comic book movies ever made.

    i didn't act like my words are Gospel, and anyone who acts like their aesthetic reaction to a thing is "the one right reaction" is of course missing the point.

    who gives a shit if you're in a minority about a matter of aesthetic appreciation? it's not a vote. i expressed my reaction to the movie - the character development is thin, richard e grant pops up as generic "british guy as villain", the old "super-soldier project" plot is flogged again, and the violence is gratuitous, considering this is a genre that's excelled at pleasing a cross-generational audience. if other people don't share my reactions to the movie, i'm not surprised.

    democratic elections on the other hand are a vote, with tangible consequences for yourself and society, and you *are* a fucking idiot for voting for trump.

    You are the one that brought up the election here not me. You made the comparison in terms of opinions. There is a huge difference between half of the voters choosing one candidate over the other and 90% of the viewers watching something agreeing.

    That being said, I never voted for Trump.
