I'm 'reaching' here but another thing which increases mcgregor's tiny chances - a 74 inch reach? Floyds never faced that that I can remember. Combine that with a guy who's gonna move strangely and throw the kind of wild punches thrown 'wrong' that floyd itsnt used to fielding

 

Not that he really used it like he could have, but Shane Mosley had a long reach that used to be measured at 74". Now I'm checking online and some sites have 74", but boxrec now says 71".

De La Hoya's says 73" on boxrec.

I wonder how accurate these measurements are. I know Paul Williams was listed at 82" before, now it says 79" on boxrec.

 

Floyd isn't setting any kind of record here, several fighters have had more wins without a loss. The confusion comes from the misunderstanding of the word 'record' here

I always questioned this "Floyd equals Marciano's record" business. I thought Marciano's record was just a heavyweight record...not a P4P record. Unless the matter is about who has retired undefeated with as many fights. In that case I don't think anyone else has beaten 49 and retired undefeated.
