Duh! You are basing your comments just on my review of the pilot episode? I watched the first season when it aired (not in Netflix), but honestly wasn't much of a fan so didn't watch the next two seasons. Same with 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D'. When tv viewing starts feeling like a chore, I quit.

The Flash is okay, and better than I thought but it all reminds me a little bit like Buffy The Vampire Slayer, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman - basically geared up for a younger audience....

 

You're missing out on the best arc in comic book TV or movie history. Season 1 is epic bro. Did you get through ep 9?

 

i have found this to be the problem with this show...the fucker can do anything - travel time, dismantle tornadoes, you name it

Damn you fuckers are missing out on one of the best villain arcs in comic book cinematic history. Watch the entire season 1 for the Reverse Flash. The Flash isn't unstoppable. You aren't watching the show if you think that.

I finished the whole 1st series - but it wasnt edgy at all.
Like I said earlier, it reminded me of Clark & Lois: The New Adventures Of Superman and Smallville. (which I hated)

The Flash and especially the villains arent exactly memorable....yeah?

 

What kind of edgy are you looking for?

 

i think the 'big' villains from the backstory are serious business, like Reverse Flash...but the 'villian of the week' format isn't ideal - new villain, struggle for a bit but defeat him/her no problem by the end of the episode
Would be good if it was changed up a bit and each villian stuck around for 3-4 episodes and was built up as a proper character

 

I agree with this. Last season they blew it on Abra Kadabra. Should have been a big bad, not a one episode villain. A lot of these shows are afraid of multiple arcs during a season. Not sure why.

 

I was wrong about being worried about The Thinker being the season 4 villain. He has been fucking awesome.
