Mayweather will win, probably dragging McGregor a little bit at the end, but I feel it will be embarassingly easy.

 

Yeah but due to grappling etc such a natural size difference is more telling in the MMA.

Conor's best bet is to do some crazy stuff in the ring ( posing, shouting, and other unpredictable random madness) to throw Floyd off and then try to sucker punch him. That's his only shot

so, seeing as they're not really showing us footage of mcgregor sparring, and after hearing Malignaggi saying "they've got a definite game-plan. what he's trying to do, he's doing well.", i'm wondering:

is mcgregor planning some particularly outlandish fighting style in this fight? he can't get on his back like Inoki against Ali, because he'd get counted out, but is it gonna be that kind of strange, lateral-thinking approach? every pro boxer in the world learns boxing in pretty much the same way, but here we've got a guy who's learned to fight, move around a ring, and even throw punches in a very very different way to pro boxers, and mastered it at a high level. maybe the plan is: don't try to mold conor's MMA skills into a pro boxer's skills; instead, mold it in a different direction, starting from where conor's current style is, and just modify it enough that his style is better suited to the boxing ring.

who knows what they could come up with - conor going out in a crouch, constantly clinching, some new variation on rope-a-dope, ...? whatever long shot they come up with, at least they've got the element of surprise, and floyd would have to deal with something he's never dealt with before. - the chances of it being successful are probably at least as high as if he just went out there and tried to box like a normal boxer.

Mcgregor should do something to make Floyd be overly aggressive. Maybe wear lipstick.

 

Even though I hate both of these cunts I was going to root for Mayweather (first time ever) but NOW I really want Mayweather to put a beatdown on this prick.

Floyd carries Conor for 8 rounds. McGregor won't do anything stupid it would defeat the purpose of him taking a fight he knows he can't win.

 

Couture is bigger than Toney but it really didn't matter. Coutures prime was somewhere around 205. Toneys was 168. Toney has a horrible style for the MMA though even worse than a normal boxer.
