  1. Slice N Dice

Slice N Dice Big stiff idiot

Haha. Most of the Irish folks I've met have been Liverpool or Man Utd so I'm not surprised, although when I looked at this list I was surprised that Arsenal have such big support, as well as the fact QPR made this list, although I've always said we do have a big Irish following: http://irishpost.co.uk/englands-top-ten-irish-football-teams/

BTW it's amazing how something supposedly bad for boxing is bringing ghosts of the forum back to life. Good to see some of you.

Couture was older but Toney had been in combat sports longer. They weighed around the same with Couture in shape while Toney was a fat blob.

If 2 Guys APPEAR to Be the Same Height/Weight, Yet 1 Guy is DEFINED While the Other is FAT, Logic Tells You the DEFINED Guy is the Naturally BIGGER Man...

If the FAT Guy were Defined, they WOULDN'T Be Around the Same Weight...

Pretty much how toney was the whole second half of his career. Like he was against Ruiz.

Btw toney was 17 pounds heavier than couture

Yet he made 200 pounds a little more than a year AFTER the Couture fight. The guy was a fat slob who didn't care, he showed up for the paycheck because of child support issues. Couture was taller and bigger shoulder to shoulder. Toney was just fatter.

In shape toney out of shape toney, in shape couture, out of shape couture, this fight ends the same.

Said that in my initial post. A lazy counterpuncher with little footwork was not going to do well.

    KO1 Mayweather.

By Reed's logic, the fact that you will inquire on the result means you are equally interested in this fight compared to people who want to see it.

This fight is pure trash, a fight McGregor has no chance in so long as Floyd tries. McGregor might go rounds if that is his only goal. If not, he loses whenever Floyd chooses.

Just checked and am star Savannah Marshall, Gervonta Davis and Badou Jack are on the undercard. While I like Davis quite a bit, this isn't remotely enough to get me interested in the fight card.

No point in spending money on a qualified undercard when the main even sells itself.

Mayweather UD12. He'll do enough to keep his 0 and get his paycheck. He'll have no interest in going for the KO. He hasn't bothered with that sort of nonsense for years. And he'll have no motivation to 'do it for boxing'. Legacy don't pay the bills.

    Mayweather TKO3

He plays around for a round, the starts opening up and can't miss

I should clarify that my pick is based on having seen not a single second of any McGregor fight. I am presuming he has enough skill and stamina to actually stay on his feet for 12 rounds, contrary to what many posters have said in this thread.

This mismatch doesn't satisfy me. I wish McGregor was in with a prime Roy.

He doesnt....if he tries to rush Floyd....and Floyd tries to make it look good for a few round n play defense McGregor will be gassed by round 2 or 3.

If both decide it's an exhibition...McGregor will be gassed by round 5-6.....n either quit(outright or saved by corner)..or just crumble from exhaustion. Floyd won't be able to carry him thru the end even if he wanted 2...

  24. If this fight went 12 rounds (clearly it wont), would Mayweather break the CompuBox/Punch Stat record?

  25. Neil

    Neil tueur de grenouilles

    :D:D

the guy is 40 years old, hasnt fought in two years and throws about 40 punches per round the past decade

  26. Against guys who are boxers and have some modicum of boxing defense.

    Make your prediction Neil...

  27. If Floyd is even in Berto fight form and it went twelve it means that Conor would have been hit with at least 500 punches.

  28. It wasn't the overall volume as such I was referring to: % landed and/or % of power-punches landed would be interesting...

  29. And if Mayweather, who at 154, hits with the same force as someone like Nate Diaz at 170*, then you're looking at a short night...

    * not my calculation, btw
