He doesn't hate it. He's being Anthony.
We all like Anthony.
He's a good, informed, sometimes funny poster.
But stubborn.

And sometimes, once all the holes have been lined-up in his Swiss-Cheese-Model 'arguments' his downfall is his stubbornness and/or refusal to back down and admit he was wrong.

 

The only foreign language sound I hate is the one yelling "Allahu Ackbar!!!"

 

I don't mind Arabic...it's quite a beautiful language. I hate the sound of mandarin and Hindi though

Chinese is THE worst. They speak so fast and it's so squeaky sounding...its like getting jabbed with a 1000 pins a second..ugh useless dirty ants.

 

Filipino is the worst sounding language. Like a bunch of chickens clucking.

 

Chinese/Mandarin ain't even in the Top 15 of best 'sounding' languages.

It's 'functional' at best.

Japanese is great: although the vocab is tricky, it's a really free-flowing language.




And it looks cool in written-form.

 

Seeing the Hulk in a helmet and armour threw me but if it's in the comics, I'll accept it. Looks pretty good with some humour.

 

I could do without the humour, personally. Ragnarok is about the destruction of the Norse gods...it should be a dark film.

The last Thor movie was super serious and dark and while it made money, many people didn't like it. I thought it was very good, though.

 

Serious and dark is always better than comedy.

 

DC is dark, yes, but the quality of their films overall haven't been as consistent as Marvel. In recent years, Wonder Woman was good as was the Nolan Trilogy...but apart from that DC films are disjointed etc. Besides Marvel hasn't been all fun and games: all three captain America films balanced serious themes with appropriate but not excessive humour or action. The Incredible Hulk was ark throughout. Avengers had some comedy and lots of action but it worked.

 

I don't get the hype for this movie to be honest. It looks okay. Thor:The Dark World was crap.

This is an ignorant statement. It's like someone saying that the American accent is shit. Like America, England has multiple accents.

My particular accent is loved by Canadian and American women alike. I just speak and panties drop.

 

Thor the Dark World could have been better but it was far from crap. Out of all of the MCU films, Thor has always had the most potential....given Asgard, Loki, Heimdal and Anthony Hopkins as Odin. Collectively they are the best characters in any MCU sub franchise. Asgard itself also kicks ass. The first Thor is very underrated IMO and the sequel, though not quite as good as the original was good also. If they do Ragnarok properly it's likely to be one of the best MCU films to date given its scope.
