    I didn't come on here to say that. The discussion was brought up in the middle of a separate debate. It wasn't a challenge to debate either. I think it's pretty obvious MMA, at the moment, is doing better than boxing in the US. That can change of course. Boxing will always be here. And will always have fans. But with all the bullshit corruption that comes with years of being a sport, it's difficult connect unless you have a big star. UFC is a company. So it benefits from being controlled and catered to the fans. If boxing had one commission, one set of rules, run by an organization, only one belt, the sky is the limit, because when it comes to throwing hands, boxing will always be the superior martial art.

    I think you're being way harsh on McGregor. Even though Paulie is pratically shot (and never was that good even in his prime), McGregor tagging him like that is pretty impressive considering is lack of pro boxing xp. But let's not kid ourselves, it's only a couple of seconds (who knows what happened the rest of the time) and also, considering Paulie works for Showtime, basically the promoter of the fight, wether it's orchestrated or not is up for debate. The fight is a pure money grab and it shows how gullible even so called boxing fans are to believe McGregor has a shot (he has a karate background, he may pull something special out of his hat that Floyd never saw, McGregor is so alpha, he won't let Floyd tool him around, McGregor is the biggest puncher Floyd faced,... lol all idiotic :rolleyes:)

    Yes but Floyd is over 40, coming back from retirement, hasn't fought in 2 years and is naturally smaller than McGregor who is also in his prime. Put it into perspective....Floyd is older and less active than Ali was when he came back and fought Holmes.

    Butterbean was a 400lb slow fat fuck who only had stamina to last 4 rounds. You can't compared him with a fit athletic combat sports guy in his prime...whether or not Butterbean was technically a "boxer".
