I've just watched it. Indeed Napoles PERSONIFIES his nickname (Mantequilla, which is butter in Spanish). He really was smooth as butter. Probably one of those guys that boxing came naturally to. Every punch, slip, pivot, etc. It was effortless. He really is underrated.
Just watched it too. Very impressive indeed: relaxed and as puerto said, effortless, natural and perhaps most of all purposeful. No hippety-hopping but sheer craft That being said, he looks surprisingly slow compared to the likes of De La hoya or Mosley. Not saying it necessarily means anything
He didn't have super handspeed, no. But he wasn't slow either, and he was accuracy and technique were so perfect that it compensated for not having super speed.
