He's known for his left jab to the midsection (look at the Corrales fight specifically). Gatti took a hellacious body whupping in their fight

I'm about to give my revised prediction, and after that, I won't discuss May-McGregor again until at least the Friday weigh-in.

Changed my mind on Floyd TKO 6.

Put me down for Floyd TKO 4, in a performance so tight they'll call it BOSS.

He did some good body work in one of the Maidana fights. Maybe the rematch? I seem to recall him bothering him with a few shots.

The only fight where I remember him stopping someone to the body was the Sharmba Mitchell fight.

He does a lot of straight rights and jabs to the body in the center of the ring and little hooks and uppercuts when he's in fighting. Those straight shots don't look like much but they add up.

I'm buying the fight, having a few people over.

Might bet on the fight going 12 rounds, currently +220

Won't go 12. If Floyd survives Conor then there's way too many variables on the other end. Will Conor's chin hold up? Body? Stamina?

Floyd would have to do sooooo little to help carry McGregor for 12 rounds....I think it would be impossible...

Floyd's legacy takes a big hit if it goes 12. I don't care if it's a 12-0 shut out, Floyd has no business going the distance with this guy.

If McGregor is still around by round 8, my criticism of Floyd begins. And 8 is being generous.

Based on the Paulie and Van Heerden sparring footage, and based on all training footage, Floyd has no business whatsoever letting this guy go past 4-6 rounds.

ONLY reason I'm giving Floyd 4-6 rounds of leeway is cause he's 40 years old and inactive.

PRETTY BOY Floyd would stop McGregor inside of 2, and I'd criticize that version if it went any longer than 3.

He had Paulie Malignaggi for 2 sessions and he has Artem Lobov, Owen Roddy, and Tiernan Bradley. McGregor's camp had also reached out to Andre Berto and Steve Forbes but both declined McGregor's offer after the Malignaggi fiasco.

Yeah, you got me. I lied.

It's fight week, what the Hell? May-McGregor now has my full attention. Everybody loves a train wreck, right?

This isn't really a compelling matchup in the sense that I'm wondering who will win... at this point I'm only curious to see how long Floyd will let this fight go. That's it.

So yeah, I'm willing to discuss it all week.

But come next Monday morning, hopefully all the forum's energy shifts to discussing the REAL FIGHT in September. Ya know, the one where the winner isn't a foregone conclusion.

Lol omg odds down to 3.5 - 1. Biggest upset in boxing history? By odds alone this wouldn't even be a big upset at all. 3.5-1 lol...wow
