Because he is facing the best boxers in the last 25 years. That is why. And he is undefeated. The event is being sold. Floyd is getting checks with Mayweather promotions on it. Dude is writing his own checks that dont seem to be cashed in 2 years. Sounds fishy to me. Add the IRS shit, who knows what the fuck Floyd is getting paid?

Ask yourself why is Floyd's biggest money making fight against a 0-0 boxer who is an MMA fighter? If you think Floyd is brining in the cash here, you are wrong. Floyd is making money based on the marketing that Conor is generating for this fight. If conor wasnt involved in this fight, it would be berto 2.0 where im sure showtime lost some money.

Stacked UFC fights do so well. When there are no PPV draws on them. When there is a proven PPV draw on them, and the whole marketing is focused on that Main Event, it's clear who is generating the money. You ever seen a stacked PPV card that doesnt involve a PPV star. The amount of maketing on all of them is heavy. With a mcgreggor card, he gets the sole focus of the marketing. btw, woodly/Thompson and Joana are not stacked. Just because you have a title doesnt mean you are considered something people want to see. Mighty Mouse could be on a PPV card and it's not considered stacked.

But in Diaz vs. Ferguson, Kabib vs. Lee, Cain vs. overeem and you would have a stacked card and not single title on the line.

That's just It, the Guarantee from the Pac Fight is LARGER than the Guarantee from this Fight Is...

The Level of Marketing and Promotion Floyd is Putting Into the Conor Fight is Noooooooo DIFFERENT from What he's Done in Other PPV's...

But Because Conor's an MMA Dude and has a Good MOUF' Piece, We're Supposed to Pretend he's CARRYING the Promotion???...

Apparently, You haven't Been Privy to Many Floyd Mayweather PPV's, Bruh...

The Focus of that Particular PPV was NYC, Dude...Hence, Why Alvarez, Weidman and Edgar Also Fought...

NYC had Always RESISTED Hosting UFC Shows, So when they Finally Gave In, Dana Gave Them a STACKED CARD...He Even Said as Much Pre and Post-Fight...

You must have missed the Mcgreggor/Alvarez promotion. It was very heavy mcgreggor. Mcgreggor is the top selling PPV draw in the company.

Why are we comparing him to someone who's last fight drew 400k?

In all honesty, Mayweather has had the luxury of having huge PPV stars to help him get those big paydays. He wouldn't have done it on his own.

Kabib just had surgery. He will be out a few months. Kabib might get diaz when he gets back, but Nick needs to be compensated properly.

So what? After De La Hoya he was a huge draw and could make 8 figures fighting anyone. How many times did Conor make 8 figures in the cage?

Nah, REED Saw the Promotion...REED Doesn't Miss UFC Hype in Regards to McGregor or Jon Jones...

NYC was a VERY Prominent Aspect of the Promotion Throughout, Undeniably...

Conor's Being Compared to "Someone who Drew 400k" Because he NEEDs that "Someone" to Get the Biggest Payday he'll EVER See...

& If that WEREN'T the Case, Best Believe McGregor Could Debut Against Some Tijuana Taxi Driver or a Malnourished Homeless Brother from the Hood...

LOL now the discussion has shifted to who has more PPV buys, who's the biggest star, who's generating the buzz, who's filling the seats...
Anthony..take a break from your computer. It'll do you good. McGregor isn't going to acknowledge your existence no matter how hard you ride his jock on here.;) :crafty:

    He MIGHT...

Remains to Be Seen if this will Surpass the Pac Payday, When All is Said and Done...Like REED Said, the GUARANTEE for Pac was Higher than This One is and that's a Fucking FACT...

Even if it Does Surpass the Pac Payday, it Damn Sure WON'T Be as Large a % Increase as Conor's Highest UFC Payday Compared to What He'll Make vs. Floyd...

You're DESPERATELY Trying to Make this ALL About McGregor, but the Fact Remains, Your Boy had to Go to BOXING, the Sport You Dislike Because of "How it's Ran", to Get THE Largest Payday He Will have Ever Seen Before OR Since...

Apparently, McGregor DOESN'T Like "How UFC Is Ran" or This Wouldn't Even Be Happening...

Isn't Paulie Malignaggi 5'7 and McGregor is 5'9?
They look the same size. Did McGregor forget his lifts?

Guarantees are bullshit. You talking about that Mayweather check Floyd still carries around with him that he wrote himself?

What are the guarantees for this fight? I couldnt find them anywhere. What were the guarantees for the Pac fight?

Guaranteed money doesnt mean shit. Generated money means something. What you can bring in. If someone wants to pay you money, let them. But what about profits. What were his profits in his last PPV bout? And will they equal to this one?

I have no doubt mcgreggor is part of the draw in this fight. But he needs conor right now for that to work. He couldnt do it with Berto right?

I agree with you. Mayweather can't draw at all. The 4.4 million buys his fight done with Pacman was all due to people ordering by accident.
