no doubt. It's a fight and stuff happens in a fight that we don't expect. And one other thing, other than Nate Diaz, Conor has been taller/bigger and had longer arms than almost everybody that he's fought. I think Max Holoway was the only other guy but Max was skinny and still developing. And also check out how much bigger Conor was to Eddie Alvarez. Much longer reach, taller and overall bigger man.

 

Anthony puts "Mayweather sparring" in Google and throws up this sh*t. LOL

 

Why didn't he bring back in the guy who beat his ass before? He was on record saying pretty much the same as Paulie. In fact, he talked about them releasing edited sparring video prior to Paulie talking about it.

This "reason" for bringing Paulie in is garbage. It's equivalent to believing shit trump says.

Since Paulie said win or lose if he fought McGregor in a match he prepared for he'd knock him out...will Paulie get that fight?

 

Discussed how the video was edited you mean or the part where Freddie Roach talked about it by saying "Conor got beat up a little bit by my guys?"

 

Don't hate the messenger. Ask any pro boxer and they'll tell you the same. Putting up sparring pics of a guy who is fallen on his ass is frowned upon. So STFU.

 

For the record...

I think Mayweather works his body and that's what does Conor in. Similar to what Crawford did in his last fight.

 

I'm really looking forward to this one. I don't expect a good fight, but it'll be fascinating to see these two guys in the same ring

Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz 3 will be a boxing match under McGregor promotions/Zuffa boxing.

 

Mcgregor's head is about 50% bigger than floyd

 

They claim in that video that Van Heerden's footage was edited too but I just watched it again and there are no cuts in the footage he released so they are wrong.

 

I have to admit that though the fight itself is likely to be a bit of a wet fart, but this thread included and the sports media hype and discussion leading up to this has brought some life to a dead spot in the sporting calendar...helped kills time before the superfly promotion and the triple g canelo fight

 

I'm not sure where the footage I got came from but you're right, the footage from the video you posted was from Van Heerden. Still seems closer to the other footage than what Mcgregors team posted.

Side note, just heard some really dorky old married couple talking about while I was in line. They've achieved maximum casual fan exposure.

 

Also Chop Chop Corley and Shambra Mitchell.

Earlier I thought he was generally more aggressive against southpaws. Traded more or liked to walk them down. He was cautious and dull against Guerrero and Pacquiao.

Obviously he'll look to land the straight right hand upstairs, mixed in with jabs and straight rights to the body, which dropped Mitchell.

Generally, jabs are tougher to land against southpaws, but Floyd used it effectively against Manny, and McGregor is not an experienced boxer.

Floyd can win it basically anyway he wants, but I assume he'll lay back and use a high guard and block most of McGregor's shots early on, letting him use up energy, while throwing in some sharp punches to remind him what he's in for.

Floyd will then toy with him and stop him in the mid rounds.
