Like mayweather would toy with him and clown him. Mcgregor's pacing/stamina will improve. I'd be curious to see it, it certainly wouldn't be a joke fight in my eyes.

Not sure what that means but i think the fight would sell. McGregor can make it sell.

He has no power in boxing. His weight transfer is terrible.

And it wasn't like PBF actually tried to win these early rounds. He was happy to let them go cause he knew that they wouldn't matter. (Also, IMO, there was a kind of tacit agreement that PBF wouldn't make him look too much like a fool)

But then, after all these years. It's pretty obvious that Hut is not the sharpest on in the drawer

Sure. And said 40 year old fought a guy who'd never had a pro boxing fight. It works both ways. The point is mcgregor's boxing skills - for as long as he was able to apply them- are clearly, unquestionably LEGIT. He did things with angles, distancing and on the inside which were extremely impressive in there

Watching Andre Ward do post-fight analysis on ESPN, he's really grown on me, he's far more engaging outside of ring than inside

Maybe it'd sell ok but it'd be such a huge step down.

It was like the fight script was designed to allow everyone save face and give the appearance of offering value for money

When Pressured, All Floyd Did was Go to the Ropes...Against Porter, that's SUICIDE...

If Floyd PRESSURED Porter, that's Equally BAD for Floyd...The WHEELS Clearly Aren't There Anymore...Porter's an AWFUL Matchup for the Version of Floyd Seen Tonight...

Anyone who think McGregor can't box a lick is either an idiot or a hypocrite. Hell, the guy won two championship in the UFC mostly with his boxing, and there is a lot of good boxers in MMA. But there is a world of a difference between being a good boxer and a world class one. I think that Mcgregor could probably have some succes at the regional, euro level, if he start boxing full time. But it's way too late for him to turn into an elite boxer

Floyd looked a lot less stinky than I feared...remember Hopkins at his age

I'll give Floyd credit for this fight..coming out of retirement at age 40 for such a huge fight..incomparable

McGregor tarnished MMA as expected...forever the sport with girly stamina

Conor should try and get a fight with Robert Guerrero. That fight would be fun.

His Skills were LEGIT Against the WORST Version of Floyd Ever Seen, Hut...LITERALLY, Floyd Walked him Down, Behind a Winky Wright Guard, for MORE Than Half the Fight...

Floyd WASN'T Trying to Outskill McGregor, Bruh...

REED's a BIG Fan of McGregor Too, but You're Crushing EXTRA Hard Right Now...
