All really brilliant

Trust you to come up with a tom cruise list that's light on action flicks ( which the man is known for). You're such a non-conformist. Lol

For me:

Edge of tomorrow
Oblivion


The guy can scarcely make a bad film

 

Gee I can't name a single one. He makes okay films, but nothing memorable. I'll go with the ones I watched twice: Legend & Interview with The Vampire but on both of those films his performances were not that great tbh.

 

Collateral and last samurai have some of the best choreograped action in cinema history

 

3 top 5s and 14 different films. That's kinda impressive

 

Shocked that I'm the first one to say Minority Report. Definitely one of the better Cruise movies.

Collateral, Born on the Forth of July, A Few Good Men, and War of the Worlds are all good ones.

 

War of the worlds was great too. Proper scary

 

I liked vanilla sky

 

Heck his best film was Risky Business with the signature iconic solo dance.

 

I was impressed with Vanilla Sky but not sure how it is on second viewing

Minority Report and Interview with the Vampire are top movies

 

Absolutely stellar resume. Oblivion is so underrated. His role in Collateral was fantastic. I'm a fan. I can't name a favorite.

The Mummy was solid too. Don't get the bad reviews or the hate after jumping on Oprah's couch. That's tame shit in this world.

 

Tom Cruise films! Are we talking about Tom Cruise films? Shiiiiiiiittt, it'd be easier and take a lot less time to list Tom Cruise's bad films rather than spout off all the good ones.

One of my personal favorites that I can't stop rewatching, Jack Reacher.

 

Magnolia. about half a dozen amazing performances in there, and cruise's is one of them.

Word. I love me some oblivion. I rewatch that film at least once a year

 

Bolivion is my favourite Tom Cruise movie.

 

Yeah, that film was good stuff.

 

I started watching it but never managed to finish that film...I have to check it out again

 

Never did see The Color of Money, I've been meaning to check that out.

I don't get what anyone finds interesting about Oblivion. I imagine it can only be people who never saw Moon, which is a much better film.

 

Color of Money is a great movie, and it's a sequel to The Hustler, which is even BETTER, probably a top 10-20 all time best movie.

 

Never saw the Hustler either. Is Cruise in that one?

 

Nah, Cruise wasn't even born when The Hustler came out. It's from 1961 and stars Paul Newman.

Easily one of the best movies of the 60s.

Glad to see War of The Worlds mentioned. I never read the book or saw the original before watching and I was glad. Great movie experience.

 

Bump for Fallout. Definitely in my top 5 for Cruise movies and that's saying something.
