I believe Wayne. Morales hit fucking hard at 122.

Hamed's power was always overrated. He was a bit like Conor, in that he had a good left cross but its success was more due to timing/accuracy, and teeing off on overmatched midgets.

What did his vaunted power do to Barrera, the first elite fighter he fought? Sweet fuck all.

Mccollough definitely took a worse ass whipping from morales than hamed. That doesn't mean morales hits harder with a single shot but I guarantee he landed 3 to 5 times as many hard shots as hamed did

This may be true, but he has problem with length: always - even in Amateur. I didn't think referee was awful actually, Salido was smart.

Rigo is smart and long. That is the worry you see. Good fight - many obstacles each man needs to win.

Comparing Hamed to fucking MCGREGOR is an egregious insult to Naz. Holy Christ.

I know you're a Morales fan boy, and Hamed hater, but DAAAMMMNNN!

Hamed's one of the most powerful featherweights in history. You can despise him and still admit that.

Morales was not a huge puncher at any weight.

Back to the topic, the MORE I think about Loma-Rigo, the MORE I believe that people are being foolish to write off Jackal's chances.

At this point, by time the fight draws near, I have a feeling I'm gonna go with the upset.

If it wasn't for the size disadvantage I'd pick Rigo with some degree of confidence.

As would I. I think he's the better fighter.

And yeah, people knocked it when I said this, but I do think he coulda been a top 20 all time great if he had turned pro in his early 20s.

Saying that Morales was a bigger puncher than Hamed is the equivalent of saying Holy was a bigger puncher than Tyson.

Does anyone really think Morales has one punch power. He's a constant - potato picker with relentless nature. Solid power at max.

Hamed became relying on one punch - he had hornets in his hands.

As for the fight, Loma is the favorite because of his freshness but Rigo has a good chance.

Difficult to tell which one is more skillful, since one guy is a defensive genius and the other an offensive machine. I believe Loma is the more versatile, as he can both attack and defend, but Rigo's defensive moves may be too much even for him to get through

It's okay, you can say that Hamed had bombs in his hands without sounding politically incorrect.

If one of Rigondeaux and Lomachenko is better than the other then it is by an absurdly miniscule margin. They're both incredible fighters.

I think stylistically, Rigondeaux is the perfect foil for Loma. He's accurate, fast enough to catch Loma between pivots, and hits haard enough to seriously hurt him when he does so. Unfortunately, he's probably too small and old now

The judges saw Rigo vs Donaire as a very close fight, even though I thought Rigo won by a landslide. That leads me to wonder if he is one of those guys who looks better from TV than live, because I am rather sure Loma is better than Donaire

That leads me to believe that Arum wanted Rigo to lose. He won that fight 11-1, or 10-2 if you wanna be generous to Donaire.

I think I had it 10-2 (and the KD) but I don't believe it was a bribery. Some guys just look better live than in TV, and the other way around. Of course it was only one bout

Rigo won a minimum of 90% of 10 rounds and 50% of two against Donaire. It was a beating.

I'm not mathmagician but that's 1,000%. And only and Arum judge could try this jewel heist.

*in Arums voice* "I sweeaaa to God, I didn't set up Rigo to lose, goddammit. I just made it extremely difficult for him to earn a win, and that's.... what boxing should be about."

You have to beat the champion to be the champion.

You have beat him to death and hope referee can count to 10 to win against Arum. It's not anti Semite when is correct.

Assuming Rigo carries the weight well and isn't suddenly shot....he comes from behind to win a close split decision.

Rigo has wanted Loma for so long, that I'm sure WHATEVER he has left in the tank, he'll bring to this fight.

I don't think he'd take the fight unless he saw something in Loma that he's confident he can exploit.

Rigo doesn't come across as a guy who believes he can lose. I'm positive he believes he'll beat Loma.
