Of course, there's certain KO's in history that will always live in infamy: Pac-Hatton, Foster-Tiger, Lewis-Rachman II, Jackson-Graham, ect..

This thread is for UNDERRATED highlight reel KOs that rarely recieve mention.

    I'll start with this one:

Eddie was lazy... but he was somethin else when he was "on"... and sure could fuckin punch!

  2. Ruddock Dokes. People don't talk about it much but it was frightening

Saad also had a highlight reel KO of Mwale.

Another highlight reel KO from an uppercut, same division, same time frame. Spinks said it was a left hook, I guess it was more of a hookercut.

The Ring Magazine actually gave 2002 Knockout of the Year to Lewis-Tyson, which was a pretty lousy choice.

Toney-Robinson was from that year. Toney's KO of Williams was great too.

Ruddock-Dokes is mentioned alllllll the damn time. It's an extremely well known brutal KO.

    Spinks-Johnson is a great one.

  7. Ok then fook you ya fookin' difficult cooont.

    How about....

    Ike Williams vs Beau Jack

  8. Irish

    Irish Yuge, Beautiful

Anyone who has seen that one knows it was a masterful beatdown.

  9. Thomas Hearns v James Schuler

Remember watching this on the undercard of Marvin Hagler v John Mugabi and I forgot how much great bodywork Hearns did before the big shot...

  10. Breidis Prescott v Amir Khan

    NEVER gets boring.
SKY Sports bigging-up another over-hype, even down to the massive, ridicuously arrogant ´KHAN´ graphics at the top of the screen.

It´s some kind of schaudenfraude within me: seeing overhyped boxers getting liquidated....

  11. Azumah Nelson v Pat Cowdell

And the interview with Nelson after is fucking golden: zero fucks given.

LOL! Nelson wasn't wrong. McGugian wanted no parts of him.

I don't know about him stopping McGugian inside of 4 like he predicted, but Nelson would have stopped McGugian sooner or later. Probably circa 8-10... after beating him up badly. Nelson was just a higher caliber fighter than Barry.

    I don't think Benitez-Hope is underrated. That's a legendary KO.

Here's an underrated one. People probably think that Leonard was the first one to brutally KO Dave Boy Green, but it was actually Palomino.

One beautiful left hook did the job.

  17. Dog Jones

Good thread, I'll check out some of these examples on my computer tomorrow. Good call in Palomino Green too.

A little known but excellent Ko and good scrap is Mauricio Martinez Vs Lester Fuentes.

One of Julian Jackson's spectacular but lesser known KOs was earlier in his career against a fighter named Francisco Del Toro

Foreman-Cooney is an underratedly brutal KO. The most brutal KO of Foreman's comeback.

Foreman was probably pissed about getting stunned in the first so he threw that last "fuck you" right hand at a half-dead Cooney.
