I got to give you props for this one Rainman. Caught the first episode and enjoyed it. Unless things take a turn for the worse this one looks like it could keep me invested until the end, so thanks. I gotta say when I first saw it was a SyFy production I had seriously low expectations but I felt relieved when a few seconds later it said it was based on some novels. Either way good show so far and I'd recommend to anyone who enjoys sci fi.
This was really good. I thought it had it's own thread already, but was just mentioned in the "Childhoods End" thread. This was way better then "Childhoods End" IMO. Looked like SyFy spent a fortune on it. Haven't caught the beginning of Season 2 yet. From what I've seen of the trailers, it looks a bit lower budget then the 1st season.
Thanks for letting us know Rainmaker. I missed the 2nd Season when it came on SyFy and they didn't make it readily available on On Demand.
Rainmaker with yet another complete fail: shit series (never seen a single episode, I just know) and he cant even embed the fucking video anyway.
Undecided and I watched both seasons. The captain is massive self righteous cunt and being the main character makes it hard to tolerate. That being said he got better in season two but I think overall the show got worse. It's not dogshit but I'm not sure it's worth watching either.
I also couldn't get over that god awful hat he walked around in. I guess it was supposed to his thing like Indiana Jones but it missed the mark big time.
Does anybody still watch The Expanse? I'm hooked. I'll watch episode 6-7 from season 5 tomorrow. The 4th season was a bit underwhelming but the 5th one is very good!
