They are flawed just like judges are. The question is, are they also corrupt just like judges? Because if I am a corrupt promoter and i cannot buy the judges, it may be worthwhile to buy compubox. If my guy loses, I can point to compubox to try and say he was robbed. Or, if i did buy the judges and want the ability to validate my fighter's corrupt decision, would be nice if i could point to "empirical" data which also suggests he won.

I realise all that, and given the nature of how compubox works, obviously some missed punches are going to be scored, some landed punches aren't, plus it doesn't take power and damage into account.

But on the whole it's absolutely valid for getting an idea of a fight. I mean, if you look at most fights, the punchstats clearly support the winner and the margin of victory too. It's rare that they seem way out of bounds.

You know how you KNOW that Canelo lost? Because Canelo and Golden Boy are ecstatic over the result, while Team Golovkin is disappointed. If you're happy as Hell with a draw, your ass knows you lost.

Also, Canelo and Oscar are hinting that the rematch is NOT next. So basically, they'll wait til Golov is 37-38 before they fight him again. Maybe by then Canelo can actually legitimately win...

    Unfuckinbelievable.

^^^That's expected, though. Par for the course.

Canelo will probably go back to 154.

Just do not see the logic for concluding that Jack would have beaten ggg.

And? He is proven he is better than an over hyped ginger who moved up in weight to fight him. First Round ballot material?

We're probably on the same page regarding Golov. Contrary to Muzse and REED labelling me as a Golov groupie, I fully agree that he's historically overrated.

BTW - Golovkin will definitely be in the HOF, first ballot.

He might be overrated, but he's MUCCCHHH better than fuckin Barry McGuigan, Ray Mancini, and I won't even bring up Gatti.

He just beat one on Saturday.

Make no mistake, they're gonna put Ginger in the hall one day. It's a popularity contest.

in 20 years, history isnt going to talk about how big Canelo was. they are going to see a 154 pounder moving up in weight.

I dont think Canelo will be remembered in history. If he goes to 154, charlo will beat him. If he stays at 160, GGG will beat him. Nobody will be talking about him in 20 years.

Still don't see how this fight was close and competitive like a few have said on here.

For the record, I do see Canelo getting into the Hall due to how standards are lowering. Don't know if it's first ballot, though. Depends on what he does from here. But I doubt he'll ever be thought of as an ATG.

He can't make 154 anymore and neither can Charlo.

I'd DEFINITELY pick Charlo at 160 if they fight down the line. Canelo ain't getting any better. What we see is what we get from him. Explosive spurts.... then periods of nothing. Rinse and repeat.

    you drunk?

WTF said anything about a logical conclusion or Jack beating GGG being a certitude.

I only said that based on their recent performances, I'd pick Jack

yeh Canelo doesn't belong at 160...he did not carry the weight well at all
doesnt really count as a proper fight for GGG
