The two best Coen Bros movies (IMO). One a Best Picture winner and the other BLATANTLY ROBBED of Best Picture. Which was better?

Have you at least seen Miller's Crossing? That one rounds out the "big three" of the best Coen Bros movies.

Tough one. I probably enjoy "No Country" more, but the way they sloppily wrote out the Josh Brolin character in it, still rubs me the wrong way. "Fargo" was stronger narratively, but "No Country" probably had the better characters.

"Millers Crossing" for me is still head and shoulders above anything they've ever done, and even though it may seem dated now, I still watch "Blood Simple" regularly, to the point I've probably memorized all the dialogue in it. I still think it's fucking brilliant, for all it's flaws and all the misguided directors cuts it's gone through.

Being a Coen Brothers fan, I'm still a little bit angry at what a piece of shit "Hail Caesar" turned out to be.

I agree that Brolin's demise was puzzling, to say the least.

And also agreed on Hail Caesar. I cut it off after about 30-40 mins. It was too terrible to finish.

NCFOM is still a baby my movie standards, only 10 years old.

25-30 years from now, people might look back at Chigurh as the best villain in movie history.
