I think we've discussed this one awhile back, but let's revist. IMO, Black Christmas was WAY better/scarier.

It's a cult classic among horror fans. Maybe try WATCHING IT before actually knocking it. It's better than Halloween, and how TF can you say Halloween wins easily if you've never seen it? You sound like Sly, "I've never seen this old fighter before, but who cares? Floyd easily!"

 

Yeah but why make a thread about a film no one has ever seen? Let The Right One In is my favorite vampire movie but I’d never make a thread comparing it to Interview With The Vampire because I know 90% of the board never saw LTROI.

Because I assumed at least SOME of you fuckers had seen Black Christmas, that's why.

Yall need to watch it then. It's not a hard movie to find. It's currently on Showtime On Demand, if you have that.

 

Halloween and Black Christmas are very similar movies, that's why.

Moreso than Halloween vs Friday the 13th.

PLUS... Friday the 13th doesn't compare at all. Honestly... unless you're a 10 year old away at summer camp, how else is Jason scary? He's not.

 

Never heard of Black Christmas. Why compare an obscure film with a phenomenal cultural icon like 'Halloween'?

 

I opened a thread about Black Christmas like 8 months ago, and it got several replies. Now NOBODY has heard of it?

And the reason I compared them is simple - Halloween STOLE from Black Christmas for Christ Sake!

 

So? Thelma & Louise stole the plot from 'Attack of the Killer Bimbos' and no one complained.
