I love Blade but at the time seeing The Matrix I was just flat out blown away by that film. Not to mention I was taken to see it by a hotass big boobed Native American chick I was dating at the time.

Blade. The matrix was great at the time but the sequels killed it.

The Matrix by a light year. I don't like Blade.

Wesley Snipes might be Blade to the mainstream, but he's Nino Brown and Sidney Dean to me.

Well this was really about both first films not the franchises since both of their sequels sucked. In fact, for the record I’d much rather have to watch The Matrix sequels over The Blade sequels. Blade 2&3 were atrocious were the Matrix 2&3 were just bad but still had a few rewatchable parts like the highway scene and Neo versus the Smiths. The best part of Blade 2&3 were the closing credits.

Sequels sucked but I love the first Matrix. "Blade" movies never really did anything for me.

"Yall musta forgot" that the GOAT is part of the Matrix trilogy. That alone puts it above Blade.
