To Live and Die in LA

Anybody else seen this great 80's movie?

No it’s not, on top of that calling it great is overrating it. It was a decent film but doesn’t stand out much and is certainly dated these days.

 

I rented it in the late 80s after reading so much hype about it. Andy Garcia was very good, but the film fell flat on its second half. Could have been better.

 

Andy Garcia ain't even in to Live and Die in LA.

I'm pretty sure the movie you're thinking of is Internal Affairs.

 

Which is even more perplexing because that's a great movie also...

Also? Wait, besides Internal Affairs what other movie is great? Because it certainly ain’t TL&DiLA which is only an okay flick.

 

I'd go with good but not great.
