Interesting trade for the Sonics. Not sure if it gets them any more wins, but will at least take even more offensive pressure off Westbrook and maybe keep him healthy. So Sonics have a one year window essentially, to make or break the team they have now. If George defects after this coming season they are likely no more then fringe playoff team for the foreseeable future. They are in complete rebuild mode if Westbrook follows him.

Biggest question will be health. 2nd biggest will be, can George/Westbrook/Anthony meld together enough within a single season to become an actual threat to the other teams in the West?

Hell no. George can actually shoot...pretty good too. One criticism I have of George is his nearly complete lack of basket attacks. I believe Roberson attacks more and probably with better results.

With 2 shoot happy stars at his side Westbrook should just be attacking the basket 90% of the time now.

As an aside I’m gonna miss Enes Kanter. I liked that guy and what he brought to the team. Plus he was beloved in OKC, he’ll probably get a standing ovation when the Knicks come to town.

Boston simply has better players than cleveland. All ascending guys in their starting five except horford. Cleveland is old

Sucks for the nba because to me the most intriguing aspect of the season was who would win the east. Now it's a forgone conclusion

John Wall sure is an annoying cunt. He balled tonight and led his team to a nice win over a hungry Sixers team but does he have to act like every shot he makes just won the NBA championship?

It can be the first shot of the game and he’s thumping his chest over it and talking smack to the crowd and I’m thinking Jesus dude it’s 11:25 of the first quarter, maybe you should taper it down a bit.

Bad game for Lonzo but it’s just game one. Ingram had a bad game as well but I thought his offensive execution looked impressive even if he didn’t score well. His problem is he was trying way too hard to score, like he’s trying to justify his draft slot on opening night. I think once he relaxes and lets the game come to him he’ll be okay.

Kuzma really impresses me. The poise and confidence that guy plays with reminds me of a young Kobe Bryant. He actually seems way more relaxed than Ingram. I think if the Lakers don’t ruin his confidence the sky’s the limit for Kuz.

Man, who would have thought in Detroit's last three games against the Dubs, Clips, and Lakers, the only team to beat them (by blowout too) is the Lakers?

Clippers are going nowhere. I doubt they make the playoffs and if they do unreliable griffin will fold in crunchtime as always, if he can even play 50+ games

They aren't going deep at all, but I always felt that Chris Fail hindered Griffin.

The little choking midget is just so ball dominant.

Yup. Explosives irrational hate for Chris Paul clouds his judgement, just like James Harden clouds mine.

Good! We can hate the Rockets together then.

Griffins a fragile choke artist. Chris Paul's Playoff statistics compared to his regular season statistics suggest that is not the case with him. He's been surrounded by apathetic losers like Griffin and DeAndre Jordan nearly his entire career. Good enough to get somewhere, but not much further after that.

Paul's efficient at what he does (low turnovers, high assists, efficient shooting), so he gets to be ball dominant.

How much he's got left in the tank (and in his body) though, I don't know.
