I watched baby driver last week, didn't do much for me

The violence in drive was pretty shocking but strangely effective i thought; im usually put off by explicit, graphic violence like that but somehow in this case it didn't seem gratuitous or cheap but worked to involve me in the story rather than turn me off. Maybe the way it literally comes out of fucking NOWHERE helps with that somehow. It wasn't dwelt upon in any way, it was just like 'things are THIS serious, look'.

I have yet to see Baby Driver, but the main character seems like an annoying dipshit.

It also seems a lot more lighthearted than Drive. Would that be accruate?

Drive is a very dark, neo-noir film.

Maybe not quite lighthearted but more theatrical and stylized, yeah. It almost flirts with being a musical at some moments.

X you see Wheelman? It's kind of like a mash up of Drive and Locke. Not as good as either, but worth a watch imo.

  8. Well, I can tell you if you know that much about him now, you'll probably kick your TV screen in when/if you watch the movie...
