You know, a bit like Slicey, I can't help but feel sorry for the guy. It's obvious the guy never got his just due and respect as a pro.

But fuck me he doesn't do himself any favours does he?

He does not. People were surprised at the guy in your avatar not wanting to go on against Pacquiao, but he didn't get blasted for it by fans by fans and the media because A) he tried but was clearly taking a beating B) He provided the fans with great excitement and displays of courage multiple times before

Rigo did neither of the above.

Rigo not giving Loma any credit at all for his performance also left a bitter taste in the mouth.

And on the flip side Loma didn't even take much credit for it even though the broadcasters were hailing him as P4P #1. He basically said Rigo was a great fighter but didn't belong at the weight class.

Lomachenko was more humble in winning than Rigondeaux was in defeat even though he quit.

I'm awaiting a press release from Rigo's camp stating he saw a specialist who told him his hand was so badly damaged they might have to amputate it. He will be undergoing some new highly experimental treatment in order to attempt to save it.

That's how I've always seen it too. Mayweather said to Joshua that during the Klitschko fight it looked like he was done, but "he showed a bit of dog in him" and dug out the win. So I've always seen it as a positive (to be fair it was the first time I'd ever heard the phrase and Floyd is a bit of a tard).

Yes. Lol. I must be missing the irony. You don't think Bradley is more well spoken than PBF? Do you think pbf is a good reference for correct word usage?

Floyd's one of the least well spoken athletes on Earth. The stuttering fuck knows maybe like 20 words.

Roy's well spoken, despite his deep Southern accent, and Paulie's well spoken, despite his deep NY accent.

I guess two of the more well spoken boxers currently are Ward, and the Running Man, Thurman.

LEAST well spoken current fighter = By far Gervonta Davis. That nicca speaks like a walking stereotype.

Rigo wasn't getting humiliated, He was losing the fight clearly, and he wasn't doing much, but he quit before he had the chance to even get humiliated

Yeah. Rjj is well spoken. I like when he deliberately shits on a premise Max tries to feed him.

For a guy that's probably had 75 concussions by now, RJJ is a pretty articulate chap... He's just reeeeal country, kind of like Randy Moss or the late Bum Phillips

It's NOT a Straw Man @ All, it Speaks to What You EXPECTED to Happen...

So Since You've Acknowledged You DIDN'T Expect a Quit Job, Don't Pretend You WEREN'T Confused, Perplexed or Flat Out SHOCKED by the Way it Ended...Just Because a Fight Isn't "Fan-Friendly" DOESN'T Automatically Make it "Boring" Either...There's LEVELS to This Shit...

It Never Happened, but REED Kept Anticipating Rigondeaux Leaping Up OUT of the Deeeeeeeeep Dip to his Left w/a Left Cross, or Something...And Then, as he Fell Behind, There was a "Now or Never" Feel, in Terms of Him Trying to WIN...Simultaneously, there was Also the Anticipation of Lomachenko Landing Something BIG, Since he was Landing More and MORE Clean Left Crosses of his Own, as the Bout Progressed...

Watching Live, it Wasn't "Boring" @ All...

The Sosa quittage was the worst,... for at the end of that very round,.. Loam was clutching tight, gasping for air...

Roy Jones is well spoken in the sense that he doesn’t stutter or hesitate to get his points across and he enunciates very well. But he’s not exactly a walking thesaurus like a Jim Lampley.

While I didn't predicted the quit job by rigo ( I predicted an easy Loma win though), considering the way he was ''fighting'' I can't say it surprised me. Fight was a bore pure and simple. More clinching than punching, barely any clean punches landed.

Lampley is great at his job. I don't get the hate. Sure he's prone to sensationalism from time to time but he's an extremely gifted commentator.

I agree. Guy is obviously talented. I just object to his deceptive practice of hyping all things HBO and also his tendency to try to boil fights down to some generic narrative that barely ever applies in reality. But absolutely - he is a gifted commentator.

REED I'm glad you enjoyed the fight, but honestly I agree with JOM. And you know me, I'm not one to particularly like barroom brawl scrubfest type of fights, I like technique and skill, but this was just boring as fuck. And it was all on Rigondeaux. Given it was the biggest fight of his career, the way he fought was fucking disgraceful. Barely threw anything and was just desperately clutching onto Loma for dear life, at every opportunity.

If there is any truth to the hand injury - which there probably isn't - I bet it happened as he was desperately clutching on like a fucking octopus, then getting violently wrenched by Lomachenko.
