Sicario 2: Soldado

Looks shit.

 

I liked the first one. I think this one will suffer without Emily Blunt and the director Villenueve.

 

Immediately what I thought....they'lL dumb-it down and it'll have loads more of action and violence.....you can see it in the trailer.

At least it was from the best movie of a (now) shit franchise...

 

Just watched it and was pleasantly surprised. Probably not in the majority, but I thought it was an easier, better paced watch then the first.

Didn't miss the angsty Emily Blunt character.

Never heard of the Director before, but he made a great facsimile of Tony Scott movie if given the same material. It's basically "Man On Fire" mashed with the 1st Sicario, if there wasn't an hour and a half of cold, dead space in it.

Not exactly original, but certainly entertaining with some really nice cinematography.

Emily Blunt character being removed was vital.

Lawrence of Arabia is an ATG movie and we didn't rely on whiny girlzoids.

Saw this last night.

It was a lot better than the 63% it has on Rotten Tomatoes.

Not as well made as the first, but more fun to watch.

Brolin and Del Toro were both excellent.

63% is basically butt hurts over from some failed Milennial site like MIC or the like.

 

Sicario 1 was solid, but as far as drug war movies go, it pales in comparison to Traffic, which is a legitimately GREAT movie.

 

I prefer the 1st one better.....the trailer was very misleading....Panchy n them like to be afraid, Abdullah Hassan Rahim coming thru mejico into the US makes for a better...coming thru Canada or customs just not that scary hence 63%. Abdullah and Chivata Morales working together to destroy the beauty that is 'Merica! now that is realistic n scary...
