Anthony Joshua compared with Lennox Lewis

  1. Yep.
    That's boxing nowadays.

But why do you think Joshua is more 'beloved'?
    (Not counting Lewis' 'Canadian' issue)

Are You Disputing Joshua's More Beloved or Asking Why REED Believes Joshua's More Beloved?

I think Joshua is loved by many, but what also comes with that is the expectation of failure. People are already actually wanting Joshua to fail and/or to see the opposite of that clean cut persona.

  4. Hard to define the 'Who's-More-Popular' aspect but I'm guessing it'd be Joshua.

Right from the early '90s, Lewis always had the stigma of "but he's Canadian" to overcome, and it was only until vs Holyfield I when he was robbed thst he truly got the appreciation of the British public (cos the Brits are fickle like that - their sportsmen always get 'robbed')

Joshua's represented/won Gold for GB, won a WB championship belt, sold out Wembley Stadium and of course, all the women and Grandparents love him because he says ALL the right things and doeasy as he's told.

Lewis is much more fluid Joshua is very stiff and robotic. Joshua won't amount to much.

  6. I don't think he'll amount to much more...hence why he's getting into all this other stuff instead of 'boxing'.
    He knows he's limited...

Yeah, limited. Like consensus best heavyweight on the planet limited.

  9. Joshua isn’t stiff and robotic, not at all.

  10. Don't be stupid, Sly.
