it is interesting. best movies from a Breitbart right-wing/macho/American nationalist viewpoint, so a John Wayne movie as #1

I don't think so. If you read his explanations, his picks do not seem very politically motivated. He has like three Woody Allen movies in the top 20.

i did have a read some of his explanations. i'm not criticising - all art criticism is partially influenced by the critic's beliefs about society & ethics. look at how this list differs from the usual lists, & you can see a certain political sensibility behind a lot of those differences - & that's why it's on breitbart. he's got john wayne & errol flynn in the top 5, & just from the reviews for the top 15, three of the reviews have the critic railing against "snobs". other reviews (blazing saddles, the good earth) criticise the left & political correctness.

like you say, this isn't "the 165 best alt-right movies", but you can see some of the breitbart sensibility in the list

Yeah. I suppose the "usual lists" as you refer to them have their own left-winged bias, which may be more pervasive among movie critics and thus less conspicuous.

He lost me by including 'Goodfellas' & "Casino" among the top ten. No Woodie Allen film will ever be among my top 50 either, much less #12. If anyone loves Westerns as their favorite genre, I cannot blame them for picking "The Searchers" as #1: is a freaking masterpiece.

"Lets go home" this scene always crushes me on cue.

Did you look through the list of all 165? Some interesting choices there.

  8. Interesting to see how many the majority of posters on here have heard of them let alone seen them...

Big mouth boasting he has seen most of them. LOL

  10. I haven't been through the list yet...but I'm 100% certain I'll have seen or own 90% of them.

My favorite film is "Panchy is Mauled to Death by Enraged Rottweilers After Trying to Fondle Their Master's 11-Year Old Daughter", coming soon to a theatre near you

I would expect Breitbart to have American History X ranked as the GOAT movie.

then double L says "pfffft those dogs have an obvious liberal bias" and a truck carrying industrial saw blades overturns sending one hurling through the air that decapitates Doub mid-smirk

"To Kill A Clown" with Alan Alda. Very good when it first came out in 1972.

Let me guess. American History X is #1?

Wrong on multiple levels. For one, I see you missed the point of American History X (so did Xplosive). For two, I see you incorrectly think Breitbart is racist. You can disagree with their point of view. I certainly don't agree with all their positions. But it is just factually wrong to claim they are neo-nazis or anything else along those lines.

  20. So basically, you fat Turkish tub of kebab fat, you've read this:

    As you were.

If anything Breitbart would hate that film because the protagonist becomes anti-racist through his positive interactions with a black teacher and black inmate, which Breitbart readers believe is impossible because outside of Carson/Sheriff Clarke/Sowell, blacks are criminal savages and teachers of any color are union thugs forcing kids to like faggots and those with non white skin

Of course it's also possible Breitbart may praise the film's ending as proof that Dindu Nuffins can't be trusted and abandoning white pride is a terrible idea

David Clarke is so much of a self-hating coon that he probably thinks of Breitbart as pro-black.

Do you read the comments under every Breitbart article and tell yourself "I'm not like that"?
