In other Marvel news, Conan the Barbarian rights have returned to Marvel. Marvel used to run the very first Conan comicbook back in the 70s which ran for 275 issues. Later Dark Horse comics acquired the character and did some magnificent comicbook adaptations of the Robert E. Howard stories. but now The Cimmerian is back to Marvel which opens the possibility of yet another movie version.

 

Conan needs a hard R rating and a movie that focuses on the Lovecraftian style magic.

It's not going to happen so best to leave it alone.

The Jason Momoa version had all that, but it was badly directed. Too bad because Momoa was great as Conan. He looked more like the Howard character than Arnold.

 

That movie was fucking abysmal. There was nothing good about it.

Agreed. The comedy in Thor was way over the top. It was just stupid. Black Panther, from the clips, seems to be more of a dark tone, similar to Winter Soldier.

I don't see what's "shitty" about that character. He has tech beyond Stark level. He's enhanced like Captain America and with superior fighting skills actually. He's a king. Comes from a mysterious place with a hidden history. Has a great suit.

Ian McKellan played magneto long before fassbender did. Secondly I was a fan of the character long before the x men films.

What doesn’t make sense mustard? Magneto has telekinetic power. Sure it’s limited to metal but that doesn’t stop it from being a form of telekinesis.

Shazam! on location filming with Zachary Levi in full costume and we can say is 100% accurate...and in this case, unless it is a comedy, that is bad news as Captain Marvel's costume have always looked ridiculous. If there was a costume that screamed for an upgrade is this one. But like I said, if it is a comedy then is perfect.

 

"Bridesmaids" and SNL comedian Kristen Wiig will portray arch-nemesis Cheetah in 'Wonder Woman 2". Why her of all actresses out there?

 

The Shazam suit looks great. I think the movie will do well. The actor is slight though.
