Bennett's one of the most unintentionally hilarious villains ever. It's also hilarious hearing that actor who played the husband in Blood Simple and dad in Clueless try a comically bad Hispanic accent.

Commando is truly a great comedy.

 

I always crack up at the part when Sully says "You fuckin whore" after getting turned down by Rae Dawn Chong .

True, but only knowledgeable and informed movie buffs like you and I would be aware of this fact.

 

Ok...let me clarify...

Bennett was fun. But it wasn't realistic to have him as the guy who's close to being the equivalent to Arnold's character. I mean he was a skinny Freddy Mercury looking shit. They should have chosen a more physically imposing figure...someone like Jesse Ventura. That way it would have been more realistic at the end when they had a drawn out fight.

 

Vernon Wells already exploded this myth: he and Arnold werent that different in height and weight:



Remember, Matrix and Bennett were both from the same Special Forces team.
Ask any Navy SEAL about ´size and toughness´ and they´ll laugh at the muscle-heads....

 

Fine, but in a film...especially this film where you Automatically, psychologically, tied Matrix' fighting/killing prowess with his impressive physique...you'd expect that his main antagonist would look just as imposing. Imagine Thor and Superman both looking like Scott Lang? Just doesn't work on screen (even though it wouldn't matter because those guys are from cultures that are inherently much stronger than Humans).

 

Commando is a crappy movie from every angle you watch. Dunno whats wrong with you guys still talking about a very forgettable shitty film.
