I'm guessing that nobody gives Lamont a chance.... and neither do I. So I guess it's more of question of, which round will Spence stop him? Or will Lamont see the distance?

I think we're looking at a slightly longer version of Spence-Algeri. Peterson is gonna get mauled.

    Spence in 6.

After watching the fight, Uma Thurman suffers another "injury" and says he'll fight Spence in 2021.

I agree he does have a good CV but he is clearly avoiding Spence.

REED's Typically Hesitant to Go the "Avoiding/Ducking" Route, but when a Motherfucker Says in 2017 he'll Fight What's Considered his Most Dangerous Foe in 2019, there's Really No Other Appropriate Way to Put It...

I read spence is getting 4 or 5 mill for this sham of a fight vs an inactive peterson

DeLa Offered him 3.5mil for the Cotto Fight, But Golden Boy Would've Had Options on Future Fights...

Then PBC Reported Spence Would Make that Same Amount for his Next Fight Anyways...

REED Hadnt Heard 4-5mil, but Good for EJ if That's the Case...

If true, it would explain why we rarely get to see meaningful match ups on PBC. Why fight a killer when you can fight a scrub and make basically the same amount of $$$.

It doesn't take that long to recover from bone spurs.

That said, Spence stops Peterson mid to late. It's somewhat competitive early but it's gonna turn ugly and one sided.

yeah, but expecting a guy to face a gigantic threat without a few tune ups after a serious injury is unrealistic to say the least. If by the end of the year/start of 2019, Thurman still doesn't seems willing to face Spence, i'll be the first to call him a coward. But right now, he gets the benefit of the doubt

Thurmans injury is serious! Not some minor thing like the two broke bones in Brooks face

I'm not saying that Thurmain is ruined by this injury. But yes an elbow injury is much more serious than a slight orbital bone fracture for a boxer

A Tune-Up and Mandatory is Fine, But If That 3rd Fight ISN'T Spence, Thurman's Bullshitting the Boxing Public....

Thurman's resume being solid doesn't mean he can't be avoiding Spence. He CLEARLY is.

The fact that he's more interested in fighting Porter again than fighting Spence tells you everything you need to know.

It's not as if the Porter rematch is a bigger fight.

Spence-Thurman would be a HUGE fight in Barclays. The area would be completely sold out, and the fight would generate excellent ratings on Showtime or NBC.

Thurman simply isn't confident in beating Spence.

    LOOKS That Way...

The RE w/Porter is SAFER and Will Net Some Nice Coin for Thurman...

REED Doesn't Think Keith Thurman's AFRAID of Errol Spence, but he's Clearly CONCERNED w/What a Loss to Spence Would Do to his Marketability and Paydays...

I think Spence would rather fight Thurman at AT&T Stadium.

He's basically hoping that Spence outgrows 147 pounds, hoping he can catch Spence slipping and drained.

In all honesty, I suspect Thurman would rather NOT fight Spence at the end of the day. His interest in safer fights like Porter is telling.

I highly doubt it would be on Showtime PPV. Just regular Showtime.

Fuckin HBO would have it on PPV though...

It's funny, because if the fight happened last year Spence would have been the B-side. But at this point, Spence is getting more mainstream exposure than Thurman ever has - he was just on ESPN's First Take this week, he was on The Breakfast Club a few months ago, ect...

So by time the fight happens, Spence will both the A-side of the promotion AND the betting favorite.

This fight is irrelevant. If somehow Spence loses, for me I'll be as shocked as I was to see Tyson stopped by Douglas. I am dying to see him in against Thurman. I give Thurman a better shot than most people here do...but I make Spence the favourite.
